Do y’all have any suggestions for a 144hz monitor that’s sub $200? Maybe even sub $175?

Seems like AMD's CPUs are doing extremely well. I honestly think im going to pick up a 3900x.. if I can find one in stock. Otherwise ill grab a 3700x. On the Graphics card side Nvidia still looks like the king. The Super series are going to be so much value

Newegg has the 3600 in stock right now for $200:

I'm actually really surprised by the Navi reviews so far. A little better than what I expected.

Intel better get their 10 nm process fixed soon.

What components have you bought so far, and what is your goal with this PC?

1080p gaming with the most FPSs I can get without breaking the bank. I can stream from my current PC fine with it’s current setup using my Elgato (I think). It’s the old old version that works with PS3.

B450 Tomawk MOBO
Sabrent SDD 1tb
Corsair RAM 3200 MHz
Phantom Case
EVGA PSU 650 watt

I'm assuming 1080p 144 Hz? Budget for CPU and GPU?

Yup.

There are some side by side videos on YouTube already but I can’t really tell if they’re legit. And they don’t seem to be that big of a difference between last gen and new gen.

ETA: I would like it to be “future proof” for awhile at least as well.

I can get the 3600x no problem but is it worth the difference from the 2600x? Same for the Navi and Vega cards.

Honestly, I would just go with a 3700x and a RTX 2070 Super if thats what your aiming for.

Also look into a used 1080ti that hasn't been abused from mining.

Yeah... I mean if you want highest refresh rates and if your streaming, I think thats your best option if you already got a B450 board.

A B450 Tomahawk should handle a 3700x according to this:

3700x Easily seems like the sweet spot(For Streaming.) Just gaming honestly its looking like the 3600 is all that might be needed

Performance will be fine with a ryzen 5 and a Navi 5700xt.

I have a 8700k and gtx 1080 FTW and do 240hz and streamed with it also at the same time and didn't lose a bunch.

Don't over think this.
