Interesting. I might get a Vega 64 instead of a 56 if they drop in price. 10%-15% doesn’t sound like it’s worth the extra dough for the 5700 model.

ETA: anybody have any objections to this one?

From what I understand there is no special binning or anything for the anniversary, so you should be able to just OC a bit to those same clocks (or beyond).

Hu, you said the Ryzen 5 was meant for gaming and the Ryzen 7 was meant as a workstation. Would that mean that the Ryzen 7 is overkill for gaming or that it’ll handle games differently for gaming?

I keep reading that games don’t utilize 8 cores, but I plan to continue to stream. Should the Ryzen 7 handle that and gaming fine or should I go Ryzen 5 and continue to use my current streaming set up on my current PC?

I believe the 2600x clocks higher than the 2700. The 2700x is about the same as the 2600x.

I'd wait my man... There will be plenty of benches soon. I know you have that itchy research finger. Patience grasshopper.

Intel makes a locked version of the 9900k and it actually comes with their stock cooler.

My buddy co-manages one in the Atlanta area. He sent me a pic yesterday of the pallets they've had since at least Wednesday of Ryzen 3000s and Navi GPUs. Dude won't hook me up even though we've known each other since grade school.

All that glass and RGB?
LTT would be a good place I guess. They don't have tiers for cases like they do other components though.

Googling "reddit corsair 570x" also comes up with reviews.
