I got a question, would there be any latency between my PS4>Elgato>Monitor? I like extreme latency?

Yes it will. I streamed at 900p60fps and still played fortnite over 230fps with my setup on the same computer streaming and gaming.

Don't be dense.

I even played well over 120 on blops4 with it on high settings which is what he plays

I don't think so.

GN just released his review of the RX 5700XT: LINK

In short: Decent card in that it is competitive with RTX 2070 and the 2060 Super, falls short of the 2070 super. Also terrible launch drivers and cooler. Basically wait for the AIB partner card models.

Am I gonna need a 2600 cpu to upgrade the mobo bios to accept a 3rd gen Ryzen or can I do that without a cpu?

For the Tomahawk no. It has a feature called Bios Flashback that will allow you to Flash the Bios to allow it to use the Ryzen 3rd Gen

No, it will allow you to upgrade the BIOS without having a CPU inserted. I don't believe you can access the BIOS without having a CPU in there though (although I could be wrong).

Long lines outside a lot of microcenters and others this morning for Ryzen 3.

Cool to see.

5700XT is a beast boys.

$399 vs Radeon VII at $699 and beats it in multiple games.

We both said you could. You have the tomahawk which is the motherboard I also bought. All you need to do is flash the bios with the button on the motherboard

Yeah after going through some more reviews I really want to buy one but im already on a Gsync monitor and it seems like a really bad idea to give up on the monitor when I can just buy the 2070 Super in a few days

You misunderstand me. You can upgrade the BIOS without having the CPU inserted.

So you can upgrade it, and then add the 3700x or 3600 and be fine.

The drivers and blower cooler are really the big issue from most reviewers right now on the 5700XT.
