RTX 2070 Ultra Gaming for $530

If you don't mind going used, get a 1080ti.

I'm an advocate of being on the latest hardware cause drivers. Esp with fckking nVidia.

However the 2070 is such a mid-range card I don't feel comfortable paying that price for it. Go for a 2080 or try a used 1080Ti for cheaper.

Yeah especially right on the cusp of major price changes in the mid range segment.

I know, speedtest.net is worthless but it is a relatively quick way to check up on your ISP's performance. Before gigabyte internet, I monitored and recorded ISP performance with something very similar HERE . However, the Pi's ethernet port shares bandwidth with its USB ports. So your bandwidth for testing only goes up to roughly 300mBps. Need to set something else up on the pFSense (router) or my NAS. Until recently AT&T performed okay and I received what I paid for; even though you truly never know.

The new issue is with Upload bandwidth. It is not an issue for my needs but still, these companies are criminal. AT&T says nothing is wrong as long as I can hit their node with advertised speeds. Tried multiple servers but always the same results.

Just frustrating dealing with ISPs. You are never in the position to where you have a choice or power to influence them as the consumer. Yes, I can go to another service with decent bandwidth in my neighborhood. Believe both of those services offer up to 500mBps but they aren't fiber. The AT&T service comes with insanely low latency, that is honestly the main draw for me.

Yeah I have Suddenlink cable but no complaints. No data cap and good speeds for good prices, I pay $75/m for 400/40. Almost never any outages or down time.

Also, I like testmy.net for speed tests.

Microcenter has some pretty, pretty sweet bundles going on this weekend in-store. I'm fortunate to have 2 of them within a 30 minute drive.

5700 series Navi cards at or slightly above 2070 performance for significantly less.

Should sell very well.

That game already favored AMD though.

Well that's why I said at or slightly above, since that was about 10% more perf. Can usually pinpoint the performance within that percentage for most games.

Zen 2 15% IPC boost over Zen+.

Just 65w for the 8/16 3700X.

Lol I like how she is acting like it's some big reveal and it's been leaked and talked about for weeks.

$499 for highest end 3900X, on sale July 7th.

I find it interesting they didn't reveal or say anything about the 16 core though.

There are rumors that they are killing Threadripper and merging it all together so maybe they are waiting to reveal it later.

I'm curious about the Ryzen 7 3800X. What does the TDP difference give you over the 3700X?

And it costs about $60-70 more.

Lets slow down here until we get official benchmarks from 3rd parties instead of AMD themselves

I wouldn't necessarily say that, what matters more is how much Nvidia adjusts the price of the 2070 to compete.

We won't know any of the details until the full reveal June 10th.

I'm sure a 3950X is coming.
The 3600 and 3600X were announced too but weren't shown for some reason. They'll be $200 and $250.

hey fellas. a buddy of mine bought this ibuypowerpc computer from best buy over the weekend. it seemed to run pretty smoothly, but we didn't stress it out by no means. i'm curious if it's possible to build this same computer at a cheaper price.
