Did you get a key from this site? The fact that the description is in broken english is pretty suspect.

I think I got mine from Kinguin, they're a bit more $30.

Yeah same. Think I got some codes as cheap as $22 bucks.
That is the way to go.

PCPer - The BenQ EW3270U: 4K HDR for the Masses
Glad to see 32" becoming the standard. Yes a lot of you say 27in is the max. I used to be on board with that until going 32in when moving to 4K years ago. Anything more is a little much and for competitive play 27in might be the max. IMO 32in gives you the perfect experience.
Edt: Still comes with that shtty anti-glare matte surface. Koreans are still the way to go when looking for glossy with all the bells and whistles.

60Hz? What is this 2010? That monitor is pretty bad it appears, still better than that fake Asus 4K HDR 144Hz that can't do 144Hz.
Posted on 7/3/18 at 11:21 am to UltimateHog
You don't even have a rig that can push 60.im not sure why you do this bs.
It's not all that bad but has major compromises.

WOooooooo this gets me all kind of jazzed. I'm a huge fan of embedded systems and SBC (Single Board Computers). A 5x5 with 2xM.2 slots is exciting. We used to have all sorts of 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 embedded systems. Tons to choose from for a PFSense box. Last 2yrs that has sort of been dead. Let us prey for a comeback!

What does that have to do with anything? I don't want 4K 60Hz, I already had that and not cheap arse koreans either but a high end LG UD88 brand new best on the market at the time. I played DOOM with Vulkan on max at 4K and got 60 FPS, not enjoyable.
Save the money and buy a TV for 4K HDR instead of that shitty cheap monitor.

Man educate yourself.
It is the same damn panels. Sometimes with even better I/Os. Please I hate matte displays. Almost everything comes with that garbage.

It ain't just about panels. Educate yourself too.

Damn, so Nvidia sent out the closed alpha keys and told Tom's Hardware not to test AMD GPU's. That is shady af.
So now the results have came out and oh hey guess what? Hoax. Vega 64 goes blow for blow with 1080ti.
Now that makes a lot more sense, AMD cards have performed better on FrostBite than Nvidia for awhile now as is such in BF1 and Battlefront 2. That whole thing seemed really off and now we know.

Holy shite.
Intel Custom Foundry’s 10nm meltdown is crushing a $20+B market cap tech giant
Wow. Who the hell is this company though?
Intel Custom Foundry’s 10nm meltdown is crushing a $20+B market cap tech giant
quote:
After extensive research, SemiAccurate can say this company cannot survive Intel’s lack of delivery intact. The consequences of this are far reaching for both Intel and their customer.
We would like to start this out on a personal note, two actually. First and most importantly is this story makes us sick, it is going to mean the loss of thousands of jobs and the destruction of a once proud and innovative company, all because of executive stupidity. While we are just reporting the issue, it is still pretty horrible to watch and think about, our condolences to those affected but not to those involved at a high level.
Secondly this is by far the biggest story that SemiAccurate has yet to cover, and we have had some pretty big ones lately. It is pure business, bad management decisions, and some scary potential fallout. Technology only comes into it as far as Intel and their utter inability to produce a functional 10nm process after years of delay.
quote:
As you know Intel’s 10nm process is now years delayed, is not economically or technically viable, and is unlikely to ever work financially speaking based on what SemiAccurate understands of the problems Intel is still trying to fix. The customer in question put their entire upcoming line of chips at Intel on 10nm, and Intel failed.
This isn’t a mom and pop company with a trivial product line, it is a foundational technology giant. They have been in business for decades and much of a sector depends on them. And as far as we can see they are dead. Without a product line for a major industry transition, they can not survive and will be acquired or simply die. There is no way out at this point.
Wow. Who the hell is this company though?

I was looking at those frames and was like holy shite those are bad. Then I saw the resolutions
And I'm intrigued to hear about that company too, even though that article strikes me as kinda clickbaity exaggeration

"Product line" so it has to be a device maker of some kind right? If you are relying on chips and put everything into 10nm and now you won't have a product to sell.
Rumors suggest it is Nokia, their 5G depends on Intel 10nm apparently.

The Nokia AirFrame Data Center Solution is 5G-ready and Nokia said it was the first to combine the benefits of cloud computing technologies to meet the stringent requirements of the telco world. It's capable of delivering ultra-low latency and supporting the kinds of massive data processing requirements that will be required in 5G.

So the article doesn't even disclose the company name?
It sounds like a desperate grab for attention with no consequences for inaccuracy. I used to write for an industry publication just like that.

It is all about the panels. I've replaced TCons.
But just FYI Mr. Consumer, not going down this road with you. No talking sense.
Have you ever used a Korean? (not the human form)

Yeah it is crazy. I saw a really good documentary/breakdown/investigative journalism/technical breakdown on YouTube detailing the fckked state of Intel's 10nm.
When no innovation to survive you stop looking to the future. It is estimated to set them back 3-4 yrs.v
