Why in the world would you buy X299 now? It's a difference of like $20 and Coffee Lake offers significantly more performance.

I'm asking if Quad channel and more PCIe lanes are worth it.

x299 might have longer term support than z370 too.

I am leaning towards 8700k.

You only have a dual channel ram kit anyway too, so you'd have to buy another set to make quad channel worthwhile.

8700k smokes games too

This crypto scene starting to remind anyone else of the dot com doom with elements of the housing crisis? Not saying it's going to be soon, but the market will eventually correct itself.

Okay, going with the 8700k and the Aorus Z370 Gaming 7.

Anyone used hard tubing for their watercooled builds? I want to do that. Never done watercooled at all before, so I need some advice.

I basically am on travel seeing family, and won't be back home until New Years Eve, so I want to wait before purchasing parts for this build until I am back home.

Nothing worse than batteries dying mid game.

I like how the g613 runs on AA batteries so that's easy to swap... The g403 will be kind of a bitch to get charged mid game

I know pre-builds should usually be dismissed but this seems like a nice deal for $900. I've read nothing but good things about MSI.

Seems so cramped! So far after a few hours of PUBG, I'd highly recommend the G613. Especially for $75.

Only big thing I've noticed coming from the G710+ is that the switches on the G613 are much louder. They're supposed to be brown equivalents, but they have a little more noise.

So I think I'm ready to dive full wireless and get a wireless headset . Anyone have any recommendations? My eyes are stuck on the G933 so I can go full Logitech fanboi with my periphs

I have no idea what's good in the wireless headset world though

I think this thread is dying without someone building or new hardware releases.

OT this is what you get when your phone takes too much detail, that's not through a screen, normal shutter speed.
