Should I go with a used Titan Xp from Coyote/Stout with WB, or buy a brand new 1080ti with an EK WB?
I figure I cant really go wrong with either one. Historically, I've loved AMD for video cards, but I just cant justify getting Vega over what Nvidia has right now.

I am not the one to answer this but my guess is the XP.

The 8700k on TigerDirect is priced at 59.99.
I just placed an order for one
99.99% chance this gets cancelled, right?
Yeah, it's $408 now.
Micro Center has the 7700K for $260.

Micro Center also has the 8600K on sale for $230 and in stock. That's only $30 more than the impossible to find 8400.

I actually might be heading to a Microcenter Monday or Tuesday. Never actually been to one.

It's definitely worth it.

If that is the case I will scrap the idea and roll with what I have.
Don't take my word for it. I've actually never attempted to put a custom loop in a midtower, so I'm totally unfamiliar with the WC products geared toward space efficiency. And a single radiator and two blocks doesn't need the most powerful pump.

With it not including the CPU I would think that moving the CPU cooler to the top and removing the bottom fan would give me enough room, but like I said I am a novice at this.

If it were me, I would get a bigger case and ditch the aio cpu cooler. I would want it all tied in to the same loop.

Posted on 12/17/17 at 9:25 am to DoUrden

Was worth a try though.

Cable management needs a little more work, and my decorative things aren't coming until after Christmas.
Good thing I can get most of my setup without having to show the rest of my office

You got the Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 motherboard for your build right?
What are your opinions?
Considering that board, the Asus Prime Z370-A, and the MSI Z370 Gaming 5.
Posted on 12/19/17 at 11:03 am to boXerrumble
The Gaming 7 has the 2nd best VRMs with the ISL99227B, it is on par and up there with the Asus Extreme, and above the ASRock OC Formula, and the MSI Godlike.
Prime A is entry level VRMs none really worse than what it offers, and MSI Gaming 5 is upper-mid range with the Strix boards.
Gigabyte Gaming 7 and ASRock Taichi are your best for the money in terms of performance/OCing.
