Yeah, I'd cancel that order. It's not like you'd be missing out on a whole new level of performance, but still. It's the principle. Like the HB SLI bridge.

Origin Access.

I just signed up, how long do I have to play before buying the new Battlefront? Just want to play the 5-7hr campaign.

Edt: Is it 10hrs from start of play or total play time?

WTF, Assassin's Creed Origins doesn't use SLI? Is SLI support actually getting worse these days? My second 1080 Ti is going to atrophy.

Yes, dual cards are dying and getting less and less support.

So far this year 7 of 21 non indie games had SLI support. 5 of 21 for CF.

It doesn't?

Haven't even noticed.

Edt: To the defense or theme of ubisoft games. I do remember FC3, FC4, FC Primal and AC: Black Flag not having SLi at launch. Its annoying but whatcha gonna do. Need the card when it does get enabled.

Nice! I swapped the order for 4 sticks.

I think I may just get a new case, mobo, and cpu to complete the upgrade, hell the expensive shite it out of the way.

This is already on the way too.

Yeah, I have a 240 for boot that is about 5 years old and I think it's starting to have problem, not to mention it slows down and has to be reformatted every year or so. I have a 500, but it fills up too fast.

I've talked myself into it, going to complete the upgrade, you all know much more than I and I am to old learn all of it so here is what I need if you want to make suggestions:

Case - want a side window
CPU and MOBO - What is the best performance for gaming for now, bigger and better is always around the corner in the PC world.
CPU cooler, I have had crappy luck with all in ones but willing to try it again.

I will not go full water loop, it's beyond my skills.

I have PSU, GPU, RAM, and storage.

GPU - 1080 ti x2
RAM - CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) AMD X399 Compatible Memory Kit Model CMD32GX4M4B3200C16

Can you explain the benefits for 2 gpus? Is it more for running multiple programs at once or programs faster and better in general?

Why do people 4x GPUs that aren't made for it? There is a benefit for games that support it, but there is the fun of OC and benchmarking. I spent about 12 hours benching my new gear and it was fun as hell.

My CPU has lost 5% of its OC cap over the year and so I want to replace it with bigger and better. Adult LEGOs.

The game is fun, but I don't seem interested in playing it much and I don't know why, I read somewhere that you can complete main quest line in about 8 hours if you want.

8700K if you want max OC/gaming performance and 6+ cores, they will all hit 5GHz, mine can do 5.2.

Other option is 7820X ($559) 8c/16t and the X299 platform.
