Well that is because they are sold out so having to buy marked up right now since they just came out with mini itx boards last week.
Micro has tons.
Tough to beat $300 for mini itx 6 core setup, shite is insane performance for the price. And I don't see any decent 6600+H110 mITX mobos that would be any cheaper with far less performance. Don't have to go 6 core Ryzen but $199 on sale right now when the 1400 4c/8t is $170...may as well imo.

Yeah they have several very affordable iTX boards for AM4 but they are only from 3party sellers. I'm looking for one right now, esp a Gigabyte one and they are all sold out.
Gigabyte iTX GA-AB350N AM4 MOBO
We don't have many options right now but should see some more getting a release in the coming months.
Edt: The only bad part is I can't take this AMD CPUs and use them with FreeNAS. No one there wants to officially support non-XEONs much less AMD CPUs. I hope Ryzen changes this but don't see it happening soon. They won't even officially support a non-SuperMicro MOBO.

Yeah no biostar. Good mobos esp for a new chipset with bugs and features still being unlocked its important to get a bigger brand. Want to make sure BIOS updates come frequent right now.
I've never been inside a Fry's but right now I'm pretty close to one. Will see if they have one in stock. Thanks man.
Edt: Right next to a Top Golf too!

Yeah I don't know enough to say anything about Biostar, pretty good reviews, but it is sold out now anyways.
I'm going to guess no go in store for Fry's.

They aren't bad. Just if I get this I want all the VM features unlocked and I know some pass through is still being held back to be unlocked later. So better companies like ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte will update bios more often.
The biostar one does have decent reviews and doesn't look all that bad.

Yeah I'd rather have the Gigabyte one.
I threw together a mATX build I'd enjoy doing, an all white one. I may or may not ever do it but I did buy an RX560 yesterday for $100 to throw in one if I ever do.
The Ryzen 5 1500 6 core is on sale through the 13th for $199 on NewEgg and it is so tempting to just throw in something and play around.

Yeah i'm going with the 1500 too! My only concern is that it won't hit 4GHz when OC'd.
What are you seeing on the internet in terms of how easy it is to hit 4GHz with the 1500? If not i'm buying the X but then it cuts into the true savings of going Ryzen. I'm really excited about it. I want to test encoding/compression on it. It was a great time testing out the 8320 vs 3770K vs 4930K back a few years back.

I have to admit I’m in love with my PS4 Pro.
Traveling makes console gaming easy compared to my main platform of PCs. For 5 days a week I’m in the Texas apartment and 2 days back home in LA. I’ve traveled with the PS4 as it is super easy. Even dumped out my backpack with camera gear to keep my consoles in for quick and safe travel. Not having to update, download drivers and worry about PC BS is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. The PS4 feature of updating and installing everything while in rest has saved me some time. It might be one of the best features on any device owned. Then pair that with PS Plus and auto storage/backups.
Soo..
I’m in love with my PS4 Pro. Besides changing out the SSD what other quality of life mods/add-ons can I do? Get me a good DAC/AMP for headphones and/or just a really nice pair of wireless headphones?

Do you use it with a 4K tv?

Yeah. I have 1 with 4K/HDR at home but the one at my apartment only is 4K.

I am ashamed to say I bought a PS4 today on Amazon. Why? Not sure. It was cheap and the only gaming device I don't currently own so I gave in.

Don't be. I bought mines in 2013 and just upgraded to the Pro for Crash but really Horizon Zero Dawn.
I know Dourden used the mouse/keyboard adapter. Would like to get that thing.
Edt: We got this off the Prime sale.
I know ghey.. but she wanted it for the cats.. Pet Treat Dispenser

I got one of those TCLs to stick in the garage while I'm working on the bikes.

Yeah the TCLs aren't bad. I just have all Vizios that are 4K. One is a mid-tier model and has HDR and the other is the entry level. I'm honestly happy with both.

Whoah the RGB!
Not that bad of a price, esp with GPU prices currently.

Gotta get that RGB. I could build something but im not sure im gonna put anything together for 700~ thats as good as that. Any recommendations? AMD for cpu and video card I guess otherwise im gonna run into mining shortages/price hikes?

I don't watch TV enough to care about 4K, this will probably be more of a listen to TV more than anything. I like the roku built in. One less thing to buy since I cut the cord. Will probably stick a RPi with retropie/kodi on it as well, so we can old school game in there as well.

Shtt I don't watch any TV.
Besides sports, its only my podcasts and sometimes movies.
But need that 4K for gaming. The 4K TV back home is in my gaming/computer room with the older 1080 in the living room.
Edt: What I like to do in the garage while wood working is watch a youtube video over and over for a design I like. Normally play these on the laptop. I've been wanting to get a tv in garage.
