I have been in the land of liberals for the past 4 days (Cali) and I am so GD envious of the weather here. When I flew out it was 95 with 55% humidity in Louisiana. I am staying on Redondo beach and today was a "hot day" at 80 degrees and 0% humidity.

Is it worth being with the libertards though?

Sounds incredible.
I was in a land of libs (nyc) recently and actually loved it. Weather was nice and people were great but i didn't bring up politics once of course.
Id like to,visit cali but i suspect it's worse than nyc when it comes to politics

Where I am at is sort of a bubble in L.A. Lots of rich people and not many of them are liberal or if they are they seem to be moderate.

I like his responses to i9. 100% validated.

how do you like that monitor?

I'm not poo-pooing it; is a good processor, all the issues with KB-X (seriously what the frick Intel?) and PCI-E lanes aside.
Personally I just want to wait to see the comparisons with Threadripper.

Still has the hard 4.0 - 4.2 limit.
Really a no go for gaming. So what is there to wait for?

I wouldn't say that at all, still solid for gaming.
Your average smart consumer isn't dropping 1K to get enough PCIE lanes for e-peen.

Yeah it is awesome. I love what AMD brought us.
Just not for me. All i'm saying. I'm about to purchase a 1500 or 1600 for a spare rig. I hate just having this PS4 Pro at my apartment in Texas and my PC back home in Louisiana.
Bought a Pro on Sunday/Saturday just to play Horizon. I'm impressed by the game so far. Changed out the HDD for a SSD also. Just wish they would make the UI and little bit more snappy.
Edt: Opps, real name was displayed.

I love my Pro but still split my gaming time probably 65-35 PC. I put an ssd in mine too, helps quite a bit they almost load instantly in a lot of titles.
I've been paused on Horizon for months after a few hours of gameplay it's great and I need to start it again...eventually.
Also that has your name bottom right corner idk if you want that out there.

Yeah the fckking load times for some games. Jesus! tLoU:Remastered forced my hand on the OG PS4.
I really do love my Playstations. Just buy mostly for PC. This has been a console year so far. Between the Switch and PS4, not much on PC for me except Prey.

UH
Are you buying Destiny 2 on PC or PS4? I really don't know about this one. I know XBONE and PC are crossplatform but is PS4 cross platform?
Really haven't read into it.

I preordered to get in the beta on PS4, there was a pretty fun group on here for the PS4 I played the first with quite a bit. I may not get it at all though we'll see how the beta goes.
It doesn't have cross play on anything I believe.

Oh on anything? More reason to get the PS4 version. Larger base who will stay active for longer.
I really enjoyed Destiny, but don't think it's a great game.

Yeah I enjoyed it and then it got stale pretty quick and I sold it.

AMD knocks it out of the park with Epyc launch today, beats the Intel Xeon 2 socket at every price point.
Microsoft Azure and Baidu already pledged to offer it.
AMD stock jumps 6% today as a result.

Now there's a lot to Epyc, so much so that I will pull together a deeper dive later this week, but the one standout feature of the new platform is how it can beat a 2-socket Intel Xeon setup in every price point from $400 to $4,000, with the gap between Epyc and Xeon ranging from 23 percent to a whopping 70 percent.
