My PC is super quiet, just curious if oyu noticed any difference in noise output since OC?
Not much, I've never seen the GPU's about about 65 so they are quite as a mouse, the CPU fan will ramp us sometimes but it's very rare. I haven't put the covers back on the case yet, so I will almost never hear it.

That's a good price, supposed to be a 25% performance increase from older hardware, I'd say worth it.

I travel and work overseas 99% of the year so I do all my PC gaming on a laptop. What size screen you looking for?
You can get a brand new MSI GT43 for $1349.00.
14" screen
NVIDA GTX 1060
16GB RAM
128GB M.2 SATA SSD for OS
1TB HDD
Backlit keyboard
Only weighs 4 lbs
Here is a list of sub $1000.00 gaming laptops.
Laptop Ninja - Best Gaming Laptops Under $1000.00
I did not exhaustively look at their list, but just from the first few they are all running last series 9xx NVIDIA cards which should run the games you play other than maybe Overwatch at really high settings pretty easily.
I would suggest paying a little more and getting a current gen 10xx series card just to be more future proof especiallly when you can get a GTX1060 laptop for not much more than the 9xx series card laptops.

That is a good pick. Plus 14" is easy for a carry on.

Thanks for the reply!
15" is the biggest I want for sure. I'm just trying to find a good budget laptop. We visit family during the weekends pretty often, just like to bring something to mess around on at night/downtime.
I get what your saying about investing in the 10xx laptops but I think that's a tad out of the price range I'm looking for. I would literally game on it 15% of the time I would play I would guess. I mainly play on a desktop.

Your placing your life in harms way any time you make that trip
When I moved out west two years ago, I was scared as shite driving on the Lake Charles bridge with a UHaul towing my car

I usually fly out of CRP to MSY when going back home. This time I'm moving apartments so pulling a UHaul with shtt.
Honestly should have hired Stout to help me move. I bet he has a nice empty box trailer with avaible hands looking to make weekend cash.
Edt:
My truck is 4x4 so if they don't close down bridges because of ice I'm good. Can always throw the thing is 4wheel high.
I'm pulling one of those small 4x8 U-Hauls. It looks retarded. But wasn't paying extra monies if I didn't need the larger size.

Thanks mother nature, delayed my 7700K shipment. Won't be here today now. Oh well.
ETA: Got an extra month of Prime for free at least.

I don't ever watch Linus, but he put out a video today about Ryzen, showing some private stuff he got access to.
Some good pub for AMD, backs up their earlier claims a bit too.

Fckking 2015 didn't totally ruin tVerge for me but damn.. think 2016 took a great site away from me.
You can't read a single article on a damn tech site which doesn't talk about social issues. MFer.

I don't understand that upgrade. Why not waste that money on a second GPU?
Edt: yeah it's weird when USPS passes on Sunday. Very random

i7 from i5 as needed now, I stream from time to time with friends and do some light editing in Sony Vegas, had been planning on going to an i7 for months.
If there's a 6 core Ryzen I'll sell it and grab one. Good thing about CPUs pulling near sticker price used.
Second GPU wasn't an option I'm content waiting for Vega and have been I don't want dual cards at all.
ETA: Thank God for the Fury X's activity LEDs, after installing I had no video signal at all. Reseated, reset bios, etc, notta. Glance down and notice no activity at all at any point despite successful boot and the GPU lighting up, somehow it became unseated despite never touching the GPU. Saved me some wasted troubleshooting time.
