The XL is leaked at $649.

Eh, I'll stick with my 6P then. Thinking about buying it and selling my 6P, but I'd assume I'd only be able to get ~$300 for my 6P

Yep.
I would maybe get it if it had front facing dual speakers, but even the new leaked render today still did not have them, none have. Add in the smaller screen I don't want, and I'm out.
Especially with Google saying they are also moving away from discounted phones with Pixel, versus the Nexus phones being lower priced, and then the leaked price hits of $649 and yeah...pass.
If I get a new phone it will probably be the LG V20 or the Note 7 with fixed non exploding battery.

Note 7 is too much for me, especially with all the house repairs. I may get a oneplus 3.

Do they always wear those shorts?

They all had them on this morning in the lobby. They're playing Rice today. My hotel is right by Rice.

My ole lady is passing through Houston today. I might go tonight. Depending if she can make the drive straight here.
She was going to fly but we are saving that fare for an unplanned Vegas trip next weekend d out of Houston.
What are you doing there this week?

MD Anderson for my dad. About to be moving here on and off for the next year as he goes through a clinical trial for cancer. Looking for apartments right now.

Anyone getting Forza Horizon 3 on PC? Or Xbone since it's a play anywhere title.

Any cord cutters in here? I'm looking for advice with an antenna.

I've been off cable since 2012. Will post my OTA. On the road.
Best suggestion is get a SlingTV to use WatchESPN.
Edt: PSNow is okay.

I use vue, we love it. It's the antenna I'm struggling with.

Have heard nothing but good things about Vue.
I use my parents DirecTV login still for most stuff, can even access the DVR.

AMD unveils Vega details. I am so ready.

quote:
AMD will begin the "Vega" architecture lineup with the Vega 10, an upper-performance segment part designed to disrupt NVIDIA's high-end lineup, with a performance positioning somewhere between the GP104 and GP102. This chip is expected to be endowed with 4,096 stream processors, with up to 24 TFLOP/s 16-bit (half-precision) floating point performance. It will feature 8-16 GB of HBM2 memory with up to 512 GB/s memory bandwidth. AMD is looking at typical board power (TBP) ratings around 225W.
Next up, is "Vega 20." This is one part we've never heard of today, and it's likely scheduled for much later. "Vega 20" is a die-shrink of Vega 10 to the 7 nm GF9 process being developed by GlobalFoundries. It will feature 4,096 stream processors, too, but likely at higher clocks, up to 32 GB of HBM2 memory running full-cylinders at 1 TB/s, PCI-Express gen 4.0 bus support, and a typical board power of 150W.
The "Vega 11" part is a mid-range chip designed to replace "Polaris 10" from the product-stack, and offer slightly higher performance at vastly better performance/Watt.
quote:
There's even talk of a dual-GPU "Vega" product featuring a pair of Vega 10 ASICs.

Not picking up the right local channels? My dad's been staying at my house while he helps me rebuild and he bought a $25 antenna, says he couldn't get the channels he was looking for. Not sure what that actually means and I've yet to try it, but that will kind of throw a wrench into my plans to ditch U-verse and go with Vue myself.
