I'm missing out on so much.

I have my router in the living room for my new house but all my stuff is in my basement. I have a cable running from the living room router to my basement so I can hardline everything but I have about 5 devices. Any recommendations for a switch or something?

Get a cheap TP-Link switch off Amazon.
8port should run about $30-40bucks.

AMD grabs another 7% of market share for Q2 2016 over Q1.
Q2 2015 AMD had 18% market share, YOY Q2 2016 they have 30%, in desktop discrete graphics. Total discrete graphics market share up to 34.2%.
Atta boys.
Think I will hold onto my shares until at least 2017, AMD is just doing too many things right, right now, to let go of my shares.

Gotcha.
I'm all about paying someone to do a good job and get tasks which require a lot of time. This isn't one of them IMO but might be depending on the material and distance.
Got your switch yet?

No haven't gotten around to it.
The house a chaos right now. Moving with a kid is a disaster and they won't let you just work on the house. You still have to entertain them.

You can't just kennel it?
How old is your kid now? A little over 2 right?

Just realized there is a Fry's in Houston. I'm in Htown this week so I think I am going to go check it out tomorrow.

Yeah, it's been a real bitch trying to figure out childcare on top of work and fixing the house. Even the 5-year-old slows me down if I bring her to the house and try to get stuff done. My in-laws are staying with us at my parents' condo. Their house flooded too, but they have insurance and contractors taking care of it. It's really fricking aggravating having my MIL mope around all woe-is-me like nobody else's houses are fricked, and then conveniently make herself unavailable to watch the kids on the weekends so my wife can help me. And take days off work to go to the doctor and lay in bed all day doing nothing even though me, my wife, and my daughter all have the same cough and we're toughing it out. And not help with cooking, cleaning, or grocery shopping....
I did run 700 ft of cat6 cable while I had two feet of studs showing. I also stepped through my ceiling.
I will say, the shite that I'm learning through this process is invaluable. I probably have one more month of work ahead of me before we can move back in.

Are the Samsung un65ju6500 4k TVs any good? Found one on sale for $600
Posted on 9/15/16 at 7:22 pm to ILikeLSUToo
That's rough man. My mom came to 'help' us with our move here and she didn't do shite. She didn't even watch our daughter.
I guess you of all people understand why I just wanted to pay to have this done but the guy bailed on me today so I'm about to order the wire and do it Saturday. It's an easy job I just wanted it done already. We have no TV service now and are all streaming so not having reception in the basement blows.

Depends on what you are wanting.
No HDR, 2015 model, and pretty mediocre review scores.
But for $600 if you're just wanting something for awhile until spending more on a high end set, it's fine.

I might be forced into getting the new Pixel phone. Dropped my Nexus 6 and made three big cracks and a shattered corner. Still works, but annoying. And the fricking LCD assemblies are $150 minimum. Not really worth fixing I dont think.

Daaaamn that sucks.
Get a 6P on sale, probably like it more than the Pixel for half the price.
