We do the Caribbean at least a couple of times a year. Going on a cruise (not my choice at all) with friends the first week of November and 10 days in Isla Mujeres at the end of February.

Didn't make it to Mexico this week. Heading to Houston instead for clinical trial stuff. I hope this treatment works because it's his last shot basically. Chemo is no longer working at this point.

Think I'll probably keep my 6P or grab a OnePlus 3. Pixel phones look like utter shite and lack more features than they included with previous Nexus line.
Serious step backwards for Google today unfortunately. Oh well.
Hopefully they can get back on track next year.
ETA: oh yeah or the LG V20, MB raved about it today and it checks off most of my boxes.

Meh, to each their own. Lot of different uses anymore. The Pixel line checks off very few of my boxes.
Downgrading screen quality and size, removing front facing speakers after 2 full generations of having them, still no wireless charging unless I missed it, no SD card, no removable battery.
Oh and don't even get me started on what is one of the ugliest phones I have ever seen from a design perspective, complete iPhone copy on the front and a complete disaster on the rear.
Just a shitty phone for my style of use, and the early reviews and reactions seem to agree.
Combine all of that with the competition and add in the price tag now, they whiffed hard for me.
I think it is by far the worst phone Google has been involved with to this point.

Exact opposite.
I use my phone for so much content watching that I woulda been happiest with the 6" screen from the N6, loved that phone. I had to bite the bullet and grab the 6P which went to a 5.7" screen and said I'll never go smaller, so now they again go down to a 5.5" and that immediately throws me off as a huge main reason for no go. Then take away the dual front speakers I've come to expect and fall in love with for 2 generations, I'm out just right there.
Think it's ugly as hell on the back with huge ugly bezels as well, and can't stand bezels.
For my use and taste, it's just a complete miss. Luckily I still love my 6P so much I am more than happy to wait another year.
