I did, they said that since the case is closed there is nothing they can do. The buyer initiated it via paypal to circumvent ebay's rules.

So I just had an $850 computer essentially stolen from me via Ebay

I had this happen more than once with GPUs. Fought hard to get my money back because the cards I sent left my home in perfect confition. It always came from a foreign country so I just stopped selling internationally and the problem went away.

As for Zen, I won't purchase because I use CPUs for other things outside of gaming. Intel HD protocols which are only avaible with Intel CPUs.

I do hope they put pressure on Intel to get consumer i7s down below 300.

Well of course you wouldn't.

All I care about is AMD killing it right now and making absolute bank on this stock investment.

Although I will probably get Zen if it is cheaper/similar performance to a Kaby Lake i7. Just depends, new mobo and what not.

I owned 4/6/8320s and have purchased every APU since the FM1 socket launched. Just is not that great of an investment if I want to use them later for NAS or server builds.

How did you pull it off? Feeling pretty crushed by this and desperate for options.

This is in 2012-2013 I believe.

Sold 2 GPUs to some one in or claiming to be from China. Sent the GPUs and he claimed the products to be damaged. I just called and talked to multiple ppl, open claims against him. It took a good month but got refunded. I don't remember specifics but I did post about it in this thread most likely.

Edt: I'm looking through my PayPal emails and history from 2012-2013 for the case. Can't seem to find it right now but I will post details if it comes up.

Also purchased a Titan XP and selling my 980 Tis with EKWB for $350 each if anyone is interested. If not they are going on eBay in a week or whenever the card arrives.

Try and file a claim through your bank/credit card

Any car gurus here? My 2010 Accord flooded enough to wet the bottom seats. Won't start at all. If I connect jumper cables to power the battery, my panic horn goes off and can't be shut off.

The problem is that no money was actually taken from me. He paid me, then forced a refund via PayPal and then just kept the PC. Not sure how to approach this.

I'm staying in Denham Springs. My parents live in Florida but own a 3-bedroom condo off of Juban. By some miracle, it did not flood. We're staying there along with the in-laws (their house flooded, too). Probably for a few months. For the in-laws it's just a matter of how quickly they can find a contractor. For us, it's a matter of when we can get funds and drywall and flooring put in. I just finished gutting the house yesterday, did some sweeping and salvaging today and helped the in-laws gut. More gutting at the in-laws tomorrow. I might actually rest on Sunday.

Call insurance company and hope they total it. In almost every make of car now the majority of the wiring and electronics are close to floor level. Even if you are able to dry the car out completely and have carpet, etc..., changed out, I guarantee you you will have problems.

Yeah, I filed a claim, but they want me to meet at some other location. I don't have towing on my policy and haven't had the time to deal with it. Maybe next week. I was hoping to get it in running condition to avoid paying for towing.

My past 24 hours have been hell. Essentially I have had two flights cancelled and slept in a rental car in DFW last night because we called 13 different hotels and they were all booked. It was myself, another guy travelling with me, and his wife. Trying one last time at 11AM to get to Vegas for our meetings but it's storming in Dallas again and flights are getting delayed.

Nothing like what you're dealing with, obviously, but GD this is insane.

Jesus man.

I hate DFW airport. Always go to smaller Love Field just because DFW stresses me out.
