Just grateful to be dry and that we didn't have to leave our pets behind. My wife would've been very upset over that.

I really hope it stays below the electrical outlets. I can live on bare concrete for a while.

House flooded, no idea how much worse it'll get. No flood insurance.

Evacuated the house with my main desktop PC laying on the bed, about 3 1/2 feet off the ground. If I've lost that, I've probably lost everything else.

shite... I'm sorry man. Prayers sent your way. Let us know if we can help with anything.

I like the 5x size more. I hate the giant phone trend right now.

Im in the same boat. I've had an N5X since launch.

It's just a terribly slow phone. Extremely buggy.

Edt: I don't game outside Hearthstone or Pokemon GO. It's not that type of performance problems. Just browser tabs, switching between apps, laggy hangouts, camera slow to prompt. The simple shtt that was a little quicker on an older Moto X 2nd gen.

Form factor is perfect. Price is... Right lol. Just from my personal experience I've been waiting for the new Nexus to drop after the honeymoon period ended for me with this N5X.

I'm hard pressed on that issue.

Damn touch wiz from Samsung has kept me from buying their phones. I do say that would be the better option here. You can make it nearly stock Android.

My wife loves her S7. I like it a lot, too, and would jump on the Galaxy bandwagon if it weren't for the price and the fact that rooting is iffy and samsung has a built-in hardware trigger that voids your warranty if you manage to root. The Nexus phones don't have all the gimmicks/gadgets, but I like the do-whatever-you-want-really-easily nature of stock Android.

I was gonna get the new Nexus not anymore.

My Mom, Step Dad and 3 Step siblings all have S6, S7 or S6 Notes.

I could root about half of them. They switched from Verizon to ATT or ATT to Verizon, IDK. But basically wanted to take the phones without paying out the contract all at once. I know fckked up but my Mom isn't the best person in the world.

So was trying to root them for her so they could use the other carriers SIM. It was next to impossible.

I don't understand coyote with the 5x. I've only heard positive feedback from everyone I've given input to. I love my N6P and it's the best phone I've ever owned (coming from the GOAT N5)

I love my 6P almost as much as my 6.

The 810 just sucks, mine heats up with quickness, Qualcomm just really botched it for the first time, so I'm upgrading Day 1 to the new biggest Nexus they have in a few months with the 820/821.

If the biggest they offer is a 5.5" screen and it doesn't have dual front speakers, I'll have to find a different phone.

I have high hopes though since it's back to HTC, there is no doubt the Nexus 5 is the best Nexus phone made, and that was HTC. If they would just take the N5 and upgrade the hardware and offer it in like 5.3" and 5.7" or so that would be GOAT.

Haha I knew you would bring that up. Apart from the battery life, I've been ok with my 5X. It's no Motorola or anything but it does the job. Battery is garbage though.

Unfortunately, I refuse to buy an HTC phone so I will be skipping this gen of Nexus phones.
