Why is the battery bad in the Nexus 5X? Is there a issue with the hardware running stock android?

Damn man!!! Sorry!!! Let us know what you need.

As far as phones go I was going to buy a One+3 til I found out they won't ship it to an APO address. I am still on an Xperia Z2, which has been a great phone especially being in the sandbox of Afghanistan since it is dust and water=proof.

I'm not sure if it's due to battery size or what, but it certainly doesn't have the battery life of my moto G. Both use stock Android so idk if that's it.

I don't understand coyote with the 5x. I've only heard positive feedback from everyone I've given input to. I love my N6P and it's the best phone I've ever owned (coming from the GOAT N5)

Positive feedback for the price yeah.

But the phone is a hot mess. Read more reviews. Battery life, laggy apps, needed restarts due to cache not propeely being cleaned.

It also does this random shtt with text. When trying to edit or insert/delete text it throws random pieces of the text all over the place.

So I'm hearing mixtures of rumors about my neighborhood. Some say water got up to the roof, others say they can almost see yards. I have no way of knowing yet, because we can't access the street. All the streets had different levels of flooding. My home was among some of the last to flood, so I'm hopeful we only got a foot or two, low enough to protect some of the valuables.

It's sad that my PC is one of main worries, but even though I'm sure my cars are fricked, the PC is not really a documented expense that will be covered by insurance or FEMA assistance

It really does suck about the cars, though. Last payment on both is next month.

Seriously if there is anything we can do to help let us know. That really sucks.

I would rather help out someone I know than donate to a charitable organization that will take half the money.

Finally got to see my house today. It took in 10 inches (TWSS). Since we had to evacuate so quickly, we lost a lot. But it's just stuff. It'll be replaced in due time. My PC survived!

Man, I am flying out to Vegas in a few days and I would rather go have teeth pulled with no novocaine. Is that crazy?

If I had crews a little closer I would help you out but I have a feeling I will be slammed with the bank homes I manage in Laffy.

That's cool. I'm gettin' it done. I'm a little concerned at how slow things are going because it's just me and the wife, and my brothers helping intermittently. But childcare is an issue, so I'm only able to be in there for 6-7 exhausting hours each day. Most of the carpet is out, and it will all be out tomorrow, but the drywall may not be totally removed until Thursday. Getting concerned about mold, but I'm pretty much at the mercy of my own body and people who can watch the kids. The in-laws watched them today at the hotel but they have their own flooded house to deal with.

AMD stock has now surpassed $7 a share (+5%) amid the Zen news drop today.

So much for Zen not being high end as frick.

AMD crashes Intel's party: Powerful Zen CPUs are coming next year

quote:

Surprisingly, the company is aiming directly at the high-end PC gaming market, whereas its last few chips appealed more to budget builders. "Our focus is on high-performance CPUs and GPUs," AMD CEO Lisa Su said

quote:

AMD's first product based on Zen will be an 8-core, 16-thread desktop chip called Summit Ridge, which will run on the new AM4 platform, support DDR4 RAM and feature "next-gen I/O."

To give us a sense of Summit Ridge's performance, AMD pitted it against a Core i7-6900K, Intel's top-of-the-line 8-core chip (which currently sells for around $1,100), using the Blender rendering benchmark. With both chips clocked at 3Ghz, the Summit Ridge machine managed to finish rendering a scene around half-a-second faster than Intel's processor.

So AMD's high end market plan was for 2017 all along, pairing high end Zen CPU's launching alongside their high end Vega HBM2 line.

May just go Zen over Kaby Lake i7 then, we'll see as more info comes along.

So I just had an $850 computer essentially stolen from me via Ebay.

After receiving the item, the buyer claimed it was damaged despite him sending photo's that prove the opposite. I was prepared to dispute this but in the end didnt want the hassle. The buyer filed a dispute with paypal that forced a refund, and then didnt return the PC.

So im fricked.
