Understand this tho, I thought the snapdragon 410 was snappy
Objectively you may be right, but considering I do almost nothing on a phone compared to most people, Ill probably be fine.
To put this in perspective, I use less than 1 GB of data a month. Sometimes not even half that.

I don't either.
1. No Social Media Accounts (except LinkedIn)
2. No games installed on the phone
3. Just use a few apps which all play downloaded and sometimes streaming music.
4. Outside of audio apps I use Chrome and GMail.
The phone just lags, especially Hangouts lately. The battery life sort of improved but not by much.

Anyone have any experience with Phanteks cases? Think I'm about to get the first part of my build.

No but I like the simple design. Is it all plastic on the outside? I'm not a fan of plastic.
Edt: Phanteks makes decent air coolers. Sure their cases are of decent quality.
If you are in that price range, I suggest something from FractalDesign. Outside of CaseLabs they are my favorite case manufacturer.

Dayum. Ill be sure to let you know what I think about it. To be fair, I dont even do music (I dont listen to music at all actually) but ill keep that in mind.

If you are tech savvy enough and it does end up bothering you, just root it and install a custom rom and kernel to get rid of most of that lag/stuttering and get some better battery life as well.
Pretty simple 1 click program on a Nexus.

No podcast, audio books?
Yeah tell me what you think about Project Fi also.

Nope!
Apparently Fi uses a variety of networks and bounces from one to another to give you the best service. I know they have Sprint and T-Mobile, along with a few smaller ones. Im not sure about At&T or Verizon.
Wonder how google managed to get that agreement done.

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Founders Edition Video Card ($699.99 @ NCIX US)
I would wait for prices to come down...
The Skylake internal GPU isn't bad at all for most games on low-medium settings.

The founders edition price is going to stay at $700 per Nvidia. There will be cheaper 1080s eventually, though.

Yeah that's what I am waiting on, some stock is hitting the market but they don't last long and newegg seems to be the one getting most of them somehow.
The non FE cards will be $600-$670 when there is enough supply and things settle down.

Just bought this
That's the last thing I need to finish the new build!
I spent more than I planned to but oh well...
Just need a 1080Ti or two when they drop.

I actually didnt mind the look of their last Devil card. Never used a dual GPU card before. Anyone have experience with them?

PowerColor is also known from making dual-GPU card, which are often released before official reference solutions by AMD. Maybe the new DEVIL is based on two Polaris 10 GPUs? I wonder how would such a model be called: RX 480 X2, RX2 480?

2. Optical drive?
3. PSU I can sell you a better one for $50 if interested.
4. Cut the fckking HDD and get a SSD.
5. Wireless? For the price it pays to purchase 150ft of ethernet cable. Wireless is stupid.

Got my build put together yesterday, thanks to all you guys that helped me out
.
I haven't really had the chance to put it through its paces yet but I played some Overwatch last night. at 1920x1080 resolution on the highest graphical settings (Epic) I was getting anywhere from 125fps to 170fps depending on what was happening on screen. When there was a shite ton going on on the screen it would dip to about 125fps but never lower than that. Temps on the GTX 1080 hovered right around 69C under load and idles at about 35C.
Trying to talk my buddy into bringing over his 4k monitor so I can see how the 1080 does.
EDIT: Is there a standard benchmark game that people use now a days? Back when I built my last computer it was still Crysis

On Overwatch, probably fine. Other AAA 4K will kill a single 1080.
What he is pushing 4K with?
Edt: You could test this with DSR in the nVidia control panel. Set it to 2160.

Still a little rough at 4K. 2160 is pretty hard to push.
You will get better single card performance though.

Yea I dont plan to do any 4k gaming in the foreseeable future, I like to do things like pay for food and rent and bills
. I am planning on getting a good 1440p monitor before the end of this year.
