All Koreans and 1 ASUS Swift.
The Koreans are actually my favorite. The are glossy non-matte CrossOvers.

WCCFTech - Vega 10 finishes design, is sent for pre-production testing
quote:
tweet confirms that Raja Koduri is in Shanghai this week along with the GPU design team who developed the upcoming Polaris GPUs and the next-generation Vega GPUs. The design team is already celebrating the first Vega 10 GPU milestone which shows that the development process is going smooth and steady but Raja also states that it will be a long way to go before you see it. We already know from AMD’s official slides that Vega GPUs are planned for launch next year as Polaris will be taking over the mainstream market in 2016. Read more: LINK
Pre-production is usually 60-90days as material for production is procured and machines are re-set. Then you move on to test samples and then market production. Se we are what, 4-5months out for VEGA?
So meaning we are 4-5months out for GP-102? I can wait until GP-102 for a real upgrade. Will give me a chance to save money on a pair of blocks.

Tempted, but I gotta stay on budget for the next couple of weeks
.
I should also amend the idle temp for the 1080, its idling at 35C right now. Thought the other temp was a tad high for idling but I did check a couple of minutes after playing Overwatch.
EDIT: Also I'm really impressed with this Noctua NH-D14. It was kind of a pain installing but damn it does its job. Totally quiet too.

So, rooting an S7 is not quite as "one-click" as it is to do literally anything to a Nexus. First attempt last night, ended up soft-bricking temporarily. I think I need an SD card for it, or emulated storage or something like that. Gotta get around the disk encryption in TWRP.

Nice build, don't let ILike see that PSU though.
We discussed the ballin' PSU already

Nope.
Had to do 2 of them for my mom and step dad. I couldn't even get 1 of them for some reason. Rooted so they could switch carrier sims.

I feel like the whole build is ballin' but will go to waste on 1440p

Use DSR. You'll get higher-res textures and really good anti-aliasing, and you can drop down to native res for games in which the 1080 can't handle 4K.

Had no idea what this was until now. Nice

I am adding another 1080 as soon as another PNY that is actually retail price is in stock.
Really wish I wasn't stuck with PNY but that's all they had.
ETA: Just remembered I need to order some already sleeved cables for my PSU because I am not doing that shite myself.

Still interested in one, pulled the trigger on a case and CPU cooler so the build has begun.

Thank God.
Always buy 2 pairs. Those tougher titles will really appreciate it.

2 pairs = 4
/anal syntax correction
Won't it be so awesome when/if DX12 games start using multi-GPU. Theoretically, to a point where 4 1080s = the true power of 4 GPUs + 32GB GDDR5X. Or 4 1080 Tis + pooled HBM2.

What type of storage? SSDs are so cheap. If you need storage for pictures, movies etc I suggest building a cheap NAS so you can back up that 2TBs.

What type of power supply do you have? I am interested.
Have a few almost brand new in box, all fully modular, gold, 750W - 850W Silverstones and Corsairs.

Yea but I wouldn't leave my pictures on just 1 spinning HDD. Build a NAS, buy a NAS so you can run a ZFS.
Edt: 2 x 2TBs in mirror is a safe and cheap way to store data.
