Yeah, the whole build is top notch, but the PSU stood out to me because it's not only a Seasonic, but it's the absolute highest-tier model (other than the 1200W I guess, in terms of wattage/price).

It's still the easy choice for quality (i.e., you don't have to worry about what model/series you get), but there are plenty of other brands that have good models. A few years ago, there were constant rebate/promo deals on Seasonic and XFX (made by Seasonic) that made them cheaper than most of the other "acceptable" PSUs anyway.

Getting a new GPU has me itching to do a whole new build but there is no real reason for it other than the "I want to" aspect. It's like an addiction.

What CPU are you on now? Don't waste money on a CPU/MOBO upgrade. Shtt has been a waste since Haswell (I'll say even Sandy Bridge).

Fckking creeped out.
Is W10 doing mandatory updates tonight? Just finished putting my HTPC to sleep, hits 12 and it comes back on. Then I hear my main rig start booting up (fans/D5 pump is loud). So I put them back to sleep because i've had this issue before but fixed it. They both boot back up within 1 min of me forcing them to sleep.
Wth.. so shut down and now a little freaked out. Maybe I shouldn't have watched 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Witch back to back by myself.

You could always do an aesthetic overhaul. Individually sleeved cables, custom loop, full-tower to accommodate the loop, silencing foam, fan controller, whatever. Won't be cheap, but cheaper than a new CPU and mobo maybe, and the aesthetics last from upgrade to upgrade.
