PS3 is such a horror story. Their game catalogue is so good but because of license deals you either have to have a PS3 or if you’re lucky enough to get a shifty parent playable steam port m
Its not just the licensing issues. Sony has decided not to invest in backwards compatibility for the PS3. It does suck. I wish I would've never gotten rid of my PS3. I played Metal Gear rising on my Series X and it was glorious.

I have one but it needs some serious TLC. It probably works now but could just decide it’s time to retire at any moment lol. Plus games we’re still disk then I might’ve lost some it they have issues with playability. There is just so many gooooooood games in that era. If sony would ad a service that had all the ps3 games they could reasonable get with a reasonable effort, stopped streaming shite and let’s us download them to play on a subscription device it would make money hand over fist. Currently you got ya desire on a PS3 game? Hope you have that old hardware and hope
You didn’t lose the game and hope it isn’t broken. Oh yeah some stuff is on steam but it’s like they try to make their ports bad.

You certainly arent instilling a buy with confidence feeling...but at least you are honest lol. They are pretty cheap on Ebay but that hardware is getting up there in age. Emulation on the PC keeps improving for the PS3 so maybe Ill go that route some day.

If you’re looking for an under appreciated PS4 action adventure game, try Gravity Rush 2. You’re welcome.

Also code vein is an excellent submission for this. I’ve know about it for a while idk hiow popular it’s is but I never hear anything about it. It’s a dark souls ripoff in terms of a souls like game, but the best one I’ve ever seen
Code Vein is a lot of fun, but I hate how they handled the story. Walking in those dream sequences just made me want to watch a cutscene instead. Felt like they cut corners.

Just bought. Thanks a lot

Yeah, it’s not polished by any means. I wasn’t a fan of the mutations or whatever the hell they called them that served in place of a traditional rpg character progression. Still, I respect they tried to innovate a lot even if like I said, in gameplay it’s a souls rip

This was a PS2 game, but I fricking loved gladius and wish there was a game that attempted that style again.

Same for me but it’s called zone of the Enders. It’s what they sold the MGS2 demo in. Game is fricking awesome and had current gen remasters with new content added under a different name. Highly addictive and recommend its like 19.99 o ps store

I enjoyed some of them. While a fully done cutscene would have been preferred, it was better than just 2D portraits talking.
Anyway, here are my recommendations for games you might enjoy:
Gravity Rush 2
Ys VIII and Ys IX
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
The Last Remnant Remastered
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I, II, III, IV
SaGa Scarlet Grace
Trials of Mana
Blue Reflection
Nights of Azure 1 & 2
The Caligula Effect
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (it's a good JRPG I promise)
Granblue Fantasy Versus (2D Fighter with decent story)
I Am Setsuna
Tokyo Xanadu eX+
Utawarerumono Series
The first half of the list are legit very good/great games. The second half are all enjoyable but I would recommend you read more into them before jumping in.

Indeed. The game isn’t perfect by any means but they used some cool and interesting cost cutting moves that don’t come off as that.

I tried and have last remnant remastered downloaded. Maybe I had taken too much Xanax that day or something but I couldn’t figure how combat works. In the very first opening scene tutorial. Story sounds really good

FFXV: Royal Edition
It’s difficult to describe just how improved that game became post launch.
No Man’s Sky is another
