One little aesthetic thing that bugged was I played the Independence Bowl and it's basically a generic stadium with the Indy Bowl field. The old games had all the bowl games stadiums accurately represented. Not a big deal but i was looking forward to seeing those shitty tiles on the walls

For the real sickos in here, highly recommend UNLVs playbook. A lot of different options/mesh concepts. I’m in year 5 of a USM rebuild (yes I haven’t done shite else) and took them from 77 overall to 85, made natty title last season and lost to UGA in the final minute. It takes waaaay longer to rebuild in this one vs 14 IMO

For anyone that wants to see team playbooks I found this site that’s really good. Seems as though they’re still in the process of inputting plays but all the formations seem to be accurate

Good lord the defense is frustrating me. Playing any decent team, and the QB will just have a 90% completion rate. Doesn’t matter what I do.

I started a dynasty with usce and had some success with D the first game vs Akron and then Washington proceeded to drop 42 on me. All good though since I dropped 70 on them

Defense is hard to play as on any level but playing CPU defense on all american is like the 85 Bears

I’m playing on all American.
It’s much tougher sledding being LSU than usce- the mobile qb and having a 99 speed wr make the offense go much better.
It also helped I played Akron and then Washington. Instead of south Alabama and usc.
I also figured out the new passing, I was mashing it before and Nuss kept throwing pics now I saw the video on blue being the goal and have adjusted.
RPO is still kinda hard as I don’t know what plays I need to hit the throw button faster.
I’m sure I will pick it up.
The small details they put in are great though having custom commentary based on the team is a nice touch.
The motion on offense is pretty smooth, d I struggle with trying to make down hill plays.
Its probably the fact I haven’t consistently played a football game in a decade.

I also messed up on my head coach for usce making my pipeline la instead of metro ATL or sc.
I think next dynasty I do I’m going recruiter like I have been and my pipe line will be the area the school is in or near it.

My thoughts so far:
Defense is hard and Zone seems to be the way to go.
the RPO system needs a bit of work. Sometimes if I hold x it hands off and other times it keeps it, like its confusing. probably need to do a deep dive on YouTube to figure it out better.
Recruiting. This is my favorite part of the game. They built an awesome system.
For recruiting, if you know you have an out of conference rival, try to schedule that bad boy early to middle of the season, because it seems the team that gets the first visit gets a big boost and tends to finish with the recruit.
The guys you want, you need to send the house at them for the first few weeks to quickly find out which pitches are the best. NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW ALL THE PITCHES AS THERE ARE TIMES WHEN YOU CAN USE PROCESS OF ELIMINATION TO FIGURE OUT THE 3RD GREEN CHECK.
Use Hard Pitch as much as you can. If you have a lead, learn to use the sway pitch so you can create a second set pitches that you can use. Then you can use the sway and soft pitch together to get a stronger bonus, then if you schedule them during a rivalry game, win, and also pick the right thing to do with them during the visit, you will shoot up the list.
Go for pipeline guys... If after a few weeks there is one team that is significantly ahead in recruiting, you might as well stop wasting your time, its unlikely you will catch up, use this time to go find a guy in the prospects that still has you as top 1-3... look for guys with no offers that fit your needs, in your pipeline and within your rating.

Idk if there's any logic to it. I simmed the week, he committed to UT. But wanting to test the logic in the game, I created a save point and wanted to see if he would still commit to UT if I simmed it again.
