Dynasty mode is missing so much from NCAA 14. And only 30 seasons, lack of stat tracking. No past national title winners, all time win-loss records, etc etc.
It's a step down in terms of depth. A step up in gameplay and graphics.
I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. And let them get a few releases in. Before we approach the depth that was in NCAA 06 and 14.

Nah, I'm getting sacked before most of my guys get 10 yards downfield. But this was a bad OL vs a good DL.

25 tracks win-loss records, at least with rivals they do.

Yeah they do track rival game win-loss. Which is awesome, we needed that one. But it's missing the national titles, win-loss, bowl winners, etc etc from NCAA 14. No trophy room either.

you know some of the "features" this game has is going to be removed in future releases. like the home field stuff. that only lasted in a few different iterations back in the late '00s.
recruiting will probably be more simplified (see '13 to '14 changes)
i wouldn't be surprised if the pregame intros were scrapped.
passing will probably change again.

I mean that’s also just the natural order of video games, isn’t it? lol home field will always be in but I doubt it will stay in its current state where its game altering. It was a cool idea but it’s really annoying if you’re not playing dynasty

I doubt they’ll be scrapped. It seems like they put a lot of time into them. Maybe sped up in future generations but let’s be honest, it’s gonna get old after the 100th time anyway

Anybody had issues with PlayStation running hot while playing this game? I had my PlayStation give an overheating error and shut off today. I’ve got nearly 1000 hours on this PS5 and never had that happen. Felt all around the PS, behind, under, etc. Didn’t even feel warm, much less hot. I have a stand with a fan that is attached and keeps air circulating so not sure why this happened all of a sudden.

Some of those could be tied to licensing agreements they couldn’t get access to or didn’t have the $$$ this time around for them. After how much money this one is going to make, you’ll probably see that stuff added in eventually.

I agree but it’s also their first college title in a decade. I’m gonna cut them some slack. It does feel rushed in parts but that’s probably because it was rushed. They have a really good foundation. I think if they keep the current crew in charge, the next title will be amazing. This one is already better than the last 5 Madden’s

There should be a way to turn off Stadium Pulse. Normally, I don't complain about that in NCAA games, but it seems to be over the top in this game. Virtually every away game I play, my 90 OVR QB is scared shitless, can't remember the play he selected, or what buttons associate with what receive.

I agree 100 percent. It's a solid base. And no doubt it was rushed. We're basically at NCAA 09 on the PS3/360. I expect the dynasty mode to be DEEP. In the next few installments.
