people using Alabama or Georgia or Ohio State with Army's playbook would be stupid af. I'm glad they aren't allowing it.
go play ultimate team if you wanna use overpowered teams with cheese playbooks.

I’m 5 games into my LSU dynasty and have 1 INT, which was on a ball that was batted between 3 or 4 players before being caught. The number of passes that have sailed right by my DBs while they’re running around not even attempting to play the ball is hilarious.
EA has apparently removed the ball hawking feature so even when I user control them and try to pick it, they just don’t do anything.
ETA: I’ve tried several different strategies to stop the CPU passing attack. I haven’t found anything that works without severely hampering it with sliders.

im at UNT and after two very successful seasons, i actually had a local 5* interested. the #2 player in the entire country at my biggest position of need was allll about playing time and being close to home and coach prestige so i just hammered those three home but EVEN THEN it wasnt enough to keep A&M from just making up ground at the end
week he committed, he was visiting A&M but i still thought i was going to outlast because my bar was going to fill up that week.....nope

Can someone please school me on why there are two bars on your influence when recruiting a guy and what they mean. Is there a certain one I'm suppose to be looking at? Are me and Alabama that far ahead of everyone else, or is it the shorter bar... Same up top with the top 8

the game treats recruiting in stages so it gives you bars through those down below
the real bar is up top
think of the bar up top as how much more progress needs to be made to actually get the commitment, whereas the lower bar shows you how far you need to go to make the next cut in the players recruitment
so, to answer your question...not really. at least yet. you will want to keep the pressure up for the time being

How is playing just as a HC, and recruiting?
i have zero ambition to actually play the game on controller, but love recruiting and the rest, and simulating games to see how guys develop(whic is why i play football manger games).
also, are the div1a playoff teams able to be used as 1 a playoff, or moving up to 1a bowl? Love to move lindenwood up to Div1a bowl

I did see, in first season, the one qb recruit has a 100 for speed and 90ish for throw as a freshman

Am I correct to assume that the red gems that pop up occasionally when scouting someone means that he’ll most likely be a bust? And green means he’s an underrated kid with potential? I might have missed that in a tutorial.

yes
ive seen some interest ones when scouting where a "bust" had really good stats and a "gem" had worse. so i wonder if they are still tweaking it right now. but yes that is the concept

How is the online head to head? Any crazy glitches people are taking advantage of through loop holes. I used to love shutting people down even when they were trying to use a hack on the old games.

Another thing I’ve found that drives me mad when it’s not that big of a deal and probably shouldn’t...in the custom playbook menu, there’s 100+ shotgun formations. Now I know a few formations I like and want to add some stuff to…but damn it’s hard to find. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the order of the formations. It’s frickin awful. How hard would it be to alphabetize them so you can find what you’re looking for??

Finished my first season. Still struggle throwing vertically but due to a few nice rpo’s I found my tight end finished with 92 receptions and 13 tds

I think he’s referring to the bars toward the middle of the screen. The two tone purple one for LSU
