The extension on the whirl attack is pretty great, if you use that kind of attack often like I do. I also use the one where your weapon upgrades (when you use the whetstone/tables to sharpen your blades) lasts forever...until you rest. That is a great upgrade for Blood & Wine once you get your "home" set up. Rest up, enhance your weapons/armor right it the same location, then mow down bad guys.
I didn't use it, but I could see where the rune to keep your current sign upgrade permanent (until you hit another sign upgrade) could be advantageous. I agree, though, that most of them are trash.

I actually found that to be kinda useless because of the Blood and Wine house. It's super easy to keep those upgrades up without that since the tables are right next to the travel spot.

After 135 hours I finally beat the pre-DLC. Incredible game

I got the ending where Ciri becomes a witcher and ended up with triss. Is this considered the best one or is the empress one considered the best? Man at first I thought she was really dead and I got the worst ending I was frickin PISSED

I would say that is the best. You got to hang with Ciri. She got what she wanted and you had Triss on your arm.
Hit up the DLC immediately. It is all good.
By the way, the worst would be Ciri dead and you alone.

I'd say it just depends on your point of view, either could be the best. I think Ciri as Empress is better for the realms of Geralt's world than Emhyr being in charge, but I think Ciri being free is the best ending for her.

Agreed, I started a new game plus after doing the DLC and went with Yen just to change things up and see the differences in the DLC and it's annoying.

Triss is the one woman I never screwed. Never had the opportunity. Banged Yen a couple of times, Keira, and that one fighter woman in Skellige, but no Triss.

What level did y'all finish at? I'm at 35 feel like I should be higher. I over leveled for a lot of quests so i missed out on a ton of exp

I was around 36-7ish or so, but didn't clear many ? marks this time because that makes you miss quest experience. Better to be around that range so you can get full experience on the DLC quests anyway.

I thought I'd be burnt out by the end and planned on taking a break and trying some other games like dark souls. But I'm still sitting here wanting more. Will download this weekend

I got every single one also. I feel like I should have gotten some sort of achievement for getting all the skellige ocean ones. That was a bitch
