Sure. The Battle pass is not though. Just like with other games. You get a few free tiers.

Anyone else having any sound issues since the most recent update? Tried playing on my PC over the weekend and the in-game sound would cutt out and in every second or two for the entire game. Menu music and everything played fine, but the in-game sound would cut out. Very weird.

mine usually freezes for about 5 seconds and comes back to life. i wonder if it's a hardware overheating issue.

I've been running the diagnostics and nothing seems to be overheating while I am playing. I updated my RAM the other day, and the game has been running much smoother than it was. This is something that has only started happening since the most recent update from a couple days ago. I uninstalled/reinstalled overnight last night, so hopefully that will fix the issues.
It is a consistent once the game loads. If there is any music still playing, the music will play with no issues. The game effects and everything will just go on and off in 1 second intervals for the entirety of the game.

it could be my GPU. i have the reference 5700XT. it can/will run hot if you let it.

i wonder if the 2 new guns are paid for or free. they're part of the tiers.

They are doing free tiers. I would guess the guns are in those. Otherwise people would riot that already spent 60 or more on the game.

100% you get guns in free or it’s pay to win and they are trying to avoid that.

Shoothouse 24/7 removed... rip. That’s the only thing I’ve played the last two weeks. Every time I try to play the other maps it’s just brutally slow

i am enjoying the hell out of the game. i have played since cod4:mw and always preferred the boots on the ground, slower-paced games. when the jetpacks and flying was a thing, i adjusted. but this has been a solid game.
i also don't mind the sbmm. i play solo rather than in a group, and have ups and downs. but i will trade not having christmas n00bs to slaughter for not being put in a lobby with team Op Tic.
not too wild about the maps overall, and special ops sucks. but the 3 new maps today should add to the variety
