Patch just went through

Try downloading GPU-Z and check the sensors tab. See what your RAM, CPU and GPU usages/temps are. VRAM as well. It could be running hot. How old is your computer? The thermal paste may need replacing on the CPU and/or GPU.
Yea I’ve run all those, everything seems fine there. Haven’t seen gpu or cpu get over 70 degree celsius. It’s a new computer, so paste should be fine.
I’m pretty sure at this point it has to be a game issue. I’ve seen people on reddit with the same issues, using my graphics card, so that may have something to do with it. Hopefully this patch fixes it.

Patch did not fix my issues.
Ground war is almost unplayable because of the freezing and stuttering. Quick play mostly works. If things get a little heavy it may kick in.

Do you have ray tracing on?
Posted on 11/2/19 at 12:31 pm to finchmeister08
Not sure. If it defaults to on, then I do. Haven’t changed much of the in-game settings.

It default to on if you have an RTX card. What card do you have?

I’m running a GTX 1070

What’s your cpu usage? You might have too many things in the background like chrome.

I’ll have to check while the game is running. I made sure to have every app shut down besides the game. When the game was running just in the title screen, usage was very low.
I have seen other people saying the game is causing a lot of usage spikes. Jumping from 0% to like 98-100% back and forth.

Ok finally got online as the same time as my friend and the 2v2 mode is awesome. Really not loving TDM so far

It has been running noticeably better today. Was able to actually play a ground war game. Still some hiccups here and there, but overall I didn't notice much. First pic is just normal quick play, second is while playing ground war.

I did notice some GPU and CPU spiked playing ground war. Running an i5-8400. Maybe just too much for it to handle?
The task manager statistics are very different than what the gpu z app shows. Thought that was odd.

Interesting. When Doc was playing the campaign yesterday, it was on. Oh well.

I haven't played at all,but I did set mine up for multiplayer, maybe that's the difference.

Does anybody have any idea what in the hell the “aim response curve type” setting is? The options are standard, dynamic, and linear. The little explanation given makes no sense at alll

I had a fantastic match with someone with a clan tag of LSU. Eel something.
This game has its issues, but most fun I’ve had with a COD in years.
