It’s pretty big. I swapped and could easily see the advantages in chaotic and up close fights. MnK if you spin and try to find somebody, you have no guide to when to stop. AA severely slows down so you know when to shoot. Also, if the player moves, it’s easier to keep it on the target.
Pistols it’s a joke how much easier it is to hit a target with the controller. Quick snipes are also easier.

There’s countless big streamers using M&K. If you want twitch (Huskers or Tfue), FB (Stonemountain or Thinnd) etc. Aim assist isn’t nearly what people claim it to be based off of experience using both inputs. People tend to stick to what they make have grown up playing which is controller. The people that got heavy into Fortnight likely stuck with M&K. The ceiling is higher for players using M&K.

Yeah I wanted to make the swap but I’ve been using MnK now for too long and I was just absolutely lost on controller.

And there’s even more using controller. You said there weren’t any PC players swapping to controller. That’s false.

Debatable. If that were the case these streamers who are playing tourneys multiple times a week for thousands of dollars would make the switch.

If you’re comfortable with M&K there is very little reason to swap. I generally use controller because I like to lean back and relax rather than having to sit properly to use a M&K. I do wish I had a good controller with paddles though. Would be nice to not have to play with a semi claw grip at times to utilize all of the buttons while aiming.

Ceiling isn’t very high in a BR. It’s positioning. MnK though they might have a higher ceiling, it’s harder to get to that ceiling. Player movement in this game is quick and if you can’t hit all your shots after “flicking” you’ll lose a majority of the fights if the controller can hit all theirs.
Fortnite was a different animal because of building. MnK definitely had the advantage but in WZ, that gap in advantage is just not there and favors controller.

Also, nadeshot switched to controller from MnK.

As opposed to the extreme advantage of aiming with a mouse? It’s funny how everyone thinks aim assist is some huge help, but you don’t see any M&K player making the swap.

And quite good without AA. Could easily be top tier with it turned on.

100% this.
I switched from controller about 2 months ago and up close gunfights in rooms and gulag has been the most difficult thing about the change. Longer shots of people on the run or floating are much easier to track on MnK but CQB fights are much more difficult. Pistols in the gulag is the bane of my existence on MnK and it was one of my best attributes on controller. I didn't realize how much I was getting on controller until I switched.
Everything is a tradeoff and I'm very happy and playing better on MnK now, but there's a massive difference with controller assists.

Didn't he go controller>kb/m>back to controller?
But it's really about how comfortable you are with each. If I had to use a controller I would be like the PUBG bots

Agree on close up fights and "finding" the target, but there is a point of dimensioning returns. Outside of 10-15m and the effect drops off.

They can't afford to take time to have a learning curve. Their content would suffer and people will stop watching. Many of them also have sponsorships to maintain. If what they're doing works, why stop? Those small $5-10K tourneys are such a small portion of what they make once that money is split up. The real driver is people watching the content of them sweating it out and giving the viewers something to cheer on. It makes them feel vested into the game.

They play 8-12 hours a day. Occasionally they die and need something to bitch about. Generally it's those close quarters fight where controller Will have an advantage, but there is balance since mouse is better at distance.
If controller was better, there wouldn't be a need for aim assist to begin with. If it was OP they would have nerfed it and people likely wouldn't notice. Fact is they needed something to balance the game for crossplay. Aim assist isn't broken. There are advantages to both inputs.

Cool, now hop off your high horse just because you choose not to use aim assist.

And F you bitches that use aim assist on controller.
You started off with acting like using aim assist makes someone a bitch. If that makes someone a bitch then so does using a M&K. Whether I assumed you were on M&K doesn't matter. Just calling out that your statement was shite.
I don't even know what your activision account name is to know if we've played, but seems I did something to get in your head if you're wanting to swap places with Joe.

What the frick did you just fricking say about joe Biden, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in Women’s Studies, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on doxxing Republicans, and I have over 300 confirmed firings. I am trained in Twitter warfare and I’m the top followed in the entire US blogosphere. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the frick out with hashtags the likes of which have never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fricking words. You think you can get away with saying that shite to Biden over the Internet? Think again, fricker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of Antifa across the USA and your FB history is being forwarded to your boss right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your job. You’re fricking fired, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can doxx you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my iPhone. Not only am I extensively trained in tweeting repetitive phrases, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Google Content Moderation Team and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable domains off the face of the Internet, you little shite. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fricking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn incel. I will shite fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fricking cancelled, kiddo.

Yes, you're acting like you're 'elite' because you choose to not use aim assist. It's like choosing to use regular shoes rather than cleats in a football game. You sure can do that, but you're putting yourself at a disadvantage since the cleats will allow you to change directions better. If you don't want to use it then that is a preference and not something that puts anyone on a pedestal.
If you think an opposing opinion makes someone a jackass, you're just obtuse.
