I'm really tired of working on enchanting. I'm up to 87 I think. A few people mentioned that the black star lets you recharge things indefinitely. Does recharging items increase enchanting also?

Yep. The same amount I believe..whether you recharge with a grand or a petty.

I don't consider it working on enchanting, I just look at is as a way to turn my jewelry into gold and be able to sell it to mage vendors..
I'm at 97 now.. I want 100 and level 45 so I can dual enchant things.
ETA: I need to work on some damn quests.. I'm the arch-mage and have a house in whiterun.. and almost done with companions.. but I haven't even been to the majority of the other big cities.

I love buying all the iron ore I can and turning it into gold jewelry with fortify one-hand enchantments(which seem to sell for the most)
Boosts my alteration, smithing, enchanting, and speech and greatly increases the money in my pocket

Fortify archery is also big money.
For weapons, turn undead pays big.

How much gold do you guys have at this point. I think I'm sitting at around 20K. Only own the house in Whiterun though, haven't bought any others yet, but I plan to soon.

I've found the sneak enchant seems to pay well also.

about 32k. Have a bunch more potential money in my house that is stolen goods but I don't have a fence or the speech perk that allows me to sell it yet. Only own the 5k house though.

The chick in Whiterun Alchemy shop just had a daedra heart. I wonder if the higher your alchemy goes up, the more items the shops have for sale.

I had around 30K before I bought Proudspire Manor and all the things for it. I'm back up to around 17k now.

So once I get this black star I can kill an enemy with my soul trap weapon, capture its soul, then recharge that soul trap weapon with the soul I just captured and repeat until I'm maxed out?
I'm 15 minutes into exploiting the Black Briar Meadery bartender for Speechcraft. Probably about 20 more minutes to go.

The black-star allows you to soul-trap humans (instant grand soul gem) as opposed to the regular Azura's star which has the same rechargeablility but you can't soul trap humans with it.

If anyone needs money, do the thieves guild and dark brotherhood lines. Money, lots of regs, and expensive shite you can sell.

Yep. But the enemy has to be one of the humanoid races. Recharging probably doesn't give you as much as enchanting (im not sure), but you can do it repeatedly within a single dungeon, assuming you are carrying enough magical items.
Really, you can just recharge the soul trap weapon with each soul it takes, so you don't have to have alot of magical weapons.

So I just jacked a horse from some Imperial caravan
. Every time I fast travel he keeps wondering away
. So if I buy my own horse will it stay put or do all horsies do this? Thanks
Posted on 11/22/11 at 2:27 pm to TigerGambit
Do the dark brotherhood line. You get a horse there. I haven't had a problem with it at all. I can run all over the place then fast travel and he's right there.

Shadowmere isn't supposed to die, but just don't jump off any mountains on it.

I'm trying to do a "good" play through on my first guy so are they some bad dudes or are they alright?
The Dark Brotherhood that is.
Although I did do the quest line to get the Mace of Molag-Bal or whatever and had to do some torturing :| haha
