Reading the Bethesda Skyrim PS3 forums, I'm reading a lot of people having issues one their save file gets over a certain amount. Anybody here have any issues on PS3?
I'd have to check the size of my save file, but I think it is fairly large, and I haven't noticed any issues as of yet.

I haven't had many issues and I constantly save and have a ton of saves.
It would PISS ME OFF, if this issue crops up on the 360.

What is the best clan or whatever to join? Does it change future quests or prevent me from going to certain towns?

I'm sure it does a little bit.. but you could always join different ones on different characters.. like make one be a werewolf/one a vampire.
take time to do the mages college on your mage and the dark brotherhood on your thief? or if you feel like it, vice versa just because you can?

For those unsure of Smithing....
Just found a soul trap 10 seconds orc dagger that only hit for 13 or 16.
Upgraded it to Legendary and boom 44.
So Smithing is well worth it and really you can get it up pretty quickly.

Does anyone else really dislike the way this game saves? (thats the only thing I don't like
)
It saves everytime you go in and out of somewhere but when you're roaming around it sucks. I'll get all the way through some crazy forest and get surprise smacked by a giant just to have to do it all over again. I'm trying to get into a habit of saving before I get into trouble
Does everyone use the soul games and potions and ingredients stuff at all? Just seems like theres way too much and I don't feel like dealing with it. Though playing as mostly a warrior trying to transition more into a sneaky thief I don't feel like I need it that much.
I use destruction and the shouts quite a bit but that's about it.
Oh and I just killed the "Master Vampire" in a cave somewhere. Didn't expect that. And also found another cave way to the right on the map where it's almost underwater but there's Gollum like people you have to fight. The last "room" is a big lake and at the bottom there is an expert lock. If you can get it open, theres a bunch of really valuable shite like a Dwarven shield I use all the time that prevents 30% shock.

That shield you get when you cure Kodak's lycanthropy is pretty tight. Where can I get some daedra hearts? I've only got one so far.

All day yesterday I was actually working on smithing and enchantments.. starting to get some bank, it's really nice!

Also as a mage at level 16 I have started killing giants.

I did several bartender quests. Then I have been working on the companion quests.
I also did some random wanderings which led to bigger wanderings.
Now, I am gathering lots of items and soul gems to get my Enchanting up.
How the heck did you get speechcraft up so fast?

I did a quest where you have to go undercover to a Thalmor party.
If any of you ever get to his, you have to give someone undercover your equipment so they can sneak it in. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE HIM EVERYTHING YOU NEED to sneak around and kill people quickly.
From this quest alone I really wish I would have gotten my sneak up more. if they detect you its pretty fricking hard to kill them all and get what you need.
That's all I'll say

YES. I thought I was the only PS3 user on this board, but yeah I'm having problems with Skyrim and low fps after hours of gameplay when I enter a city. My save file is at 7.2 MB right now and it is only going to get bigger. Apparently it really becomes a problem after it gets to 10+ MB in size.
I have taken a few precautions like disabling auto save, and there are some PS3 settings I will turn off this evening. But I am starting to get worried about it. I just hope the second patch takes care of it, but Bethesda hasn't really said much about what will be fixed. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, I haven't started to see any issues yet (think I'm around 8 MB save file, though I have check), but I'm beginning to worry about it some. My only saving grace is that I have a new baby, so it is rare that I get to play for longer than an hour or two at a time, so maybe the issue doesn't have a chance to really show its face.

All of you enchanter/smiths should do the black star quest.
Anyone else found it? I'm torn on how to finish it.

After glancing through the 360 forums for Skyrim, I don't think it's anything like for PS3. It has it's share of bugs (to be expected after the opening week of a new large scope game), but nothing game breaking.

I remember losing my fallout 3 save file to corruption because I was a fan of energy weapons...all those ashes and piles of goop increased my save file by a TON
