Did anyone do the Forsworn Conspiracy in Markath before the stormcloak mission there? I don't recommend it
I'm Imperial so I don't think it will matter but; why wouldn't your recommend it?

dragonrend will fix that
I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or not, but after using Dragonrend on the main quest line, I ran across another random dragon later on who wouldn't land, so I hit it a few times with DR, but all it did was fly around in the sky and glow blue. Maybe another glitch

Getting an archery debuff. I am up to level 63 with that, but when I go to my skills, I have a red 15 there. I was able to do an upgrade that required 30 on archery, so I'm not sure what that's about. Checked my active effects and equipped items, and there's nothing that would be doing this. Anyone have any ideas?
Repost so I can get some answers

If it's the master dragon one he wont land, cause you can't kill him.

It was just a regular frost/blood dragon. Can't remember which.

So what is everyones opinions of must have perks?
Double enchantment is a game changer.
Slow motion archery zoom, and all the arch damage increases if that's your style.
Smithing up to whatever armor you want to wear. (glass for me).
15x damage with daggers under sneak
Sell any good to any vendor (speech)
After 54 levels, I finally found the detect life spell.

OK guys,
i know most of yall have been playing for over a month but i just got the game last night
havent opened it yet
I need opinions on what race i should be
I like hand to hand combat but would like some magic as well
dont want to be a purely magic guy
any suggestions here?

Obama has been in play in the Skyrim world. Take heed of the racial bonuses and social security benefits when creating a character.

It's the meta-game. They put a game in your game so you could play while you play.

That's actually a tad bit spoilerish, I didn't know she was a spectre but it's not that big of a deal.

I have a Imperial with maxed out light armor and nearly maxed archery with strong sneak and destruction
The sneak and archery lets me clear out most problem areas without having to go toe to toe with heavier enemies.
I am going to play the game with a full on mage type when I finish this one.

My guy is similar to what you described, a kinda melee/magic hybrid. I run around with a long distance destruction spell in one hand and an axe in the other. I went with an imperial, their starting skill perks just looked the best for what I wanted to do. Here's a list of the different race's starting perks.

I actually didn't even notice.
That's cool though, maybe she has given up on the whole human extremest thing now..

The archery perks are a lot of fun. The slowing time and being able to zoom changed the way I play the game, and now I'm using a lot of archery attacks instead of my one handed + shield.

Started a new character last night, it's fun to play a completely different style, but it sucks that bandits can now destroy me pretty easily

i picked an imperial without consulting any of these guides, and i alternate between combat and destruction magic. imperials look like a nice balanced race.
