Enchanting and alchemy are where you can make money in the game, but you have to travel around because the vendors are so poor.

I it takes 100 in smithing to make daedric, but it doesn't take much longer if you smith using the iron dagger line in whiterun.

I think it's 90 for Daedric, 100 for Dragon.

I still prefer my Blades armor though.

After investing and the 1,000 gold perk the Riverwood Trader has 11,000+ gold for me. That's where I go to sell all my loot.

Have you completed the "Blood on the Snow" quest to catch the murderer?

I think that was what triggered me getting the house

Bought Solitude house last night

It is sweet

The thing is, no one I can talk to in Windhelm triggers the quest. I think it is because I didn't really mess around in Windhelm before I finished the Imperial storyline, so that probably screwed it all up.

It's only possibe if you play on the PC using the console commands. I have two dead wives in the empty room in my house.

Not sure if anyone's noticed this but there is a way to get infinite steel arrows from the Thieves guild (it's a slow process).

If you enter through the graveyard into the cistern and immediately turn right there is a target dummy that one of the thieve's uses as target practice, every time I enter the cistern it usually has between 10-20 steel arrows I can take. Obviously steel is a low level arrow, but they are still effective for me.

Daedric arrows are the only way for me. Anything else just doesn't cut it.

Pretty much any arrow does it for me, except against dragons, then I use Daedric or Ebony... If someone builds a new character and does the Thieves Guild early though, this could be very effective.

I just conjure up a bow or sword. Haven't carried a weapon in ages.
