Had been away from Video Games for a long while now (last on XBlive 3/11) but looking to play some fun time wasters on my computer. I got the mobile and had fun building large underground buildings and other stuff. But what do you do in open play? With multiple people?
Are there quests or projects?

I looked at your map and they have some cool improvements. Like the 3,000 mile long bridge and the tiger eye.

Was thinking about buying the pc game as it looks like it could be more fun.

Mobile is only creative. This server is survival.

We don't really kill each other. We work together to build stuff. Some of us go off on our own and settle down.

In survival you have health and bad guys and you have to eat. And you actually have to craft tools to complete projects.

I do have to say had I not played it on mobile no ay would I want to buy after playing that buggy demo.

I mean you have to hold the left mouse to mine or the right mouse to eat. Well holding both brings up the menu and you can't get it to do anything. Issue was gone as soon as I got the paid version.

cool going to get on tomorrow. I just spent the last few hours crafting things and getting the hang of the recipes.

just got on, large pryamid and slots? and a blacksmith? by the spawn. Then the game crashed "out of memory"?

Some very impressive structures in there.

How far away from the spawn do I need to go to stake out a little land?

Yep, 3am and I have a 8am appointment 30 minutes away from my house. Damn you minecraft, it's too easy to get sucked in. I spent the last hour searching a cave for diamonds and iron.

I remember when I first started playing Minecraft. It's very easy to lose track of time once you get started. Going deep down underground looking for diamonds and other materials is way more fun than it should be.

I'm upset because everytime I load y'alls world within five minutes I get a "Minecraft is out of memory" message.

I updated Java. Tried it in the browser and on the download. I keep trying to explore that city near the spawn.

Just tried again, went inside the giant sphere and the tall library and climed the pyramid. and it ran out of memory. I really can't get more than five minutes out of it. It's strange, because this is a gaming rig, it should handle it, so I doubt its on my end. Unless its java.

So is that people's houses, are those public buildings? Who owns what land? I don't want to build on anybody's land. I still want to check out Tiger Eye Land. I was just thinking about grabbing me a small plot about two days west of the spawn to set up a farm and a mine.

OKAY; works much better in the browser so far, just a smaller screen.

Also whoever built the bioshpere/Pyramid /city

Nobody technically "owns" land. People just like to build a little town or headquarters where the spawn is. You can build anywhere as long as you don't destroy other peoples creations.

I've been reading your posts about your problems. Try getting in the game and pressing F3 see your mbps. It seems like you have more success on the browser than your computer. Is your computer up to snuff? If not you can change those settings under options. The only logisitcal problems I've had with minecraft I've fixed with temporarily disabling my antivirus protection, but that was only for installs. If none of that helps just google your problem.

gotcha, what about land? Can trees be cut down anywhere in that area? I noticed a large forest past the pyramid.

I hate playing in the browser because when I click the mouse buttons it pauses the game and I can't change that setting. I have to remap the attack and use item buttons.

I'm having crazy issues, but I can play single player with no issue.

Just now walking from the spawn to the Arc de Triumph I had to restart five times.
