I loaded all the plug ins back Saturday. Not sure why they were taken off. Guess it had to do with that 3 day blackout.

1.4 news...Dinnerbone just confirmed that in the upcoming Halloween update, Witches will be a new mob that spawn in the overworld.
That gives us 3 new mobs for 1.4 - Witches, Wither Skeletons, and the Wither (boss).

So there's this minecraft challenges subreddit and one is to kill a ghast within 30 minutes on hardcore starting from a new seed.
I was finishing the obsidian gateway when I ran out of time then subsequently ran into a lava pit.
ETA It's also a good way to keep your Minecraft playing under control. You know what I mean about how you can lose track of time in a world that's bigger than our own.

interesting. it would be neat to build a new island and on this island hide chests. the goal would be to find the chests and claim the prizes.
