I made some power lines using redstone and trip wires. The trip wires allow me to send a signal over long distances.

where is it? I finally got weapons and my light house somewhat done. ready to start exploring.
Also how do you get in the boat? Everytime I make one, I go to jump in and cant, and find myself pushing it in the water, trying to avoid those gnarly squids.
