just killed the legendary bear you help hosea find. tracked it right after it ran away and hosea rode away. two shots with the double barrel shotgun dropped it 5 foot from me as it was charging towards me while I was crouching. think the shots were on or near its head. pretty good adrenaline rush
now what do I do with the carcass? it's giving the option to skin it but that's it

Skin it and sell it to the trapper near by. Have him make you some legendary bear clothing

Trying to break the white Acadian is such a bitch. I’ve tried 5 or 6 times and keep getting bucked. I must be doing something wrong.

So if you want to see a bear fight wolves, and then have both come after you, head to barrow lake. Just east of lake Isabella

I kept trying to break thoroughbreds and couldn’t do it. Tried the Arabian and got it on 2nd try. Just make sure you’re pulling back on left stick as well as left and right.

Keep calming then mount
Then move left joystick in opposite direction ONLY if horse bucks in a direction, if it is going straight don’t move stick. And keep calming the horse as he is bucking you.

Man, I’ve been looking for that horse for so long I might just shoot it when I find it. I walked up on it the first time and try to calm it down, and it took off and I haven’t been able to find it since. I have probably looked for well over an hour now 
Any tips? I’ve slept by the campfire, saved the game, Etc... At this point I’m not sure what else to do

For those unaware...
Pull up the map, find a nearby road to stand in, get on your horse, set a way point on the map where you want to go, start riding in that direction, go to cinematic mode while continuing to hold down the run button, and it will auto run to the location of your way point.

Get off your horse and walk around the left side of the lake really slowly. The horse tends to respawn when doing that.

You can also tap x a few times once in autorun and the horse speeds up and keeps that speed

What happened to you happened to me. I missed the first spawn and rode around for an actual hour and saw nothing. Then got off my horse and started the loop again from the lower left side of the lake, walking slowly then BOOM the horse was there
Now it could be like RDR1 where there was real life set spawn rate for legendary animals ranging from 15 minutes to an hour.

Everything I’ve seen says it hangs out on the western side of the lake. That’s where I found it. Actually it was on the lake on ice and it ran towards the mountains and got trapped between the mountain and some trees and couldn’t escape while I roped it and calmed it. I got lucky for sure.

This game is so cool. Saved a guy around st Denis. Brought him to the Doctor. Doctor couldn’t save his arm and amputated it while I was standing there. Then picked it up and threw it in the trash
