What easiest way to make money in the game?
Mainly from missions. You can look up some videos on youtube that will walk you through where gold bars are hidden throughout the map if you are really strapped for cash and looking to make money quick.

Is the money loss when you die random? I had like 200 dollars and after dying to that fricking bear I only had 15

Yea, this is probably my biggest gripe. Unless my horse is dead, I want it to show up when I whistle. None of this it is too far away crap.

I've definitely adapted my gameplay to accommodate this. I lost my first two horses after reach bonding level 2 or 3 and vowed to take better care of the 3rd one. Just maxed her out. Named her Leonard cause she steamrolls bitches that dont make smart business decisions. Bought an Arabian at the start of Chapter 4 and named her Lanard cause they're like half the size

I think $150 is taken when you die outside of a mission

So, I found the gold bars close to my camp, but I’m not sure where to sell them. All of the videos I have seen said to sell them to the fence, but there is no fence option on my map. Where am I supposed to sell it?

There is a fence at Emerald ranch/outpost when you progress it far enough.

So I just haven’t unlocked them yet?

Possibly. Have you done the carriage mission that you turn into a vendor at Emerald ranch? If not, then you haven't unlocked it yet.

Alright thank you, do you remember who I have to see to do that mission?

Can't remember his name, but it is the old man that takes you hunting for the legendary bear.

I think it’s a Hosea mission some point in chapter 2. It’s fairly early on

Is there any benefit for keeping my Camp reserve money high? You only really need money in there to buy upgrades right?

Just bought the game and going to start tonight. Any pointers on what I should focus on first? Thanks in advance.

I didn't like the ending.

Someone should probably make a rdr2 spoiler thread

Robbing Secret operations is worthless. The money you get is not worth the bounty you accrue
