Where did you get?

Speakers and receiver from Best Buy.

(AJF-run your wiring before the sheetrock is hung, easy do it yourself project)

Approx cost for all?

About 1300. Got the 10" sub, bit overkill

I have exact same system smoke had at his place

You have seven speakers in your ceiling or does 5 make it sound like it

5 is perfect.

I have 2 speakers outside running into my receiver, reasoning by the 7.2 system--also allows me to play something different on the outside speakers from the inside speakers

I have four drops for speakers, two for connections to the equipment in my TV cabinet and two outside. So, I have no clue.

personal preference, IMO. I know just right by the TV and receiver is not a good spot.

I have mine under the end table b/t my couch and lazy boy. Works great and easy to switch the power on/off.

Just installed the Definitive Technology UIW RLS III
and the UIW RCS III with a Super Cube II in a 5.1 setup, but prewired for 7.1.

i assume you have to guesstimate where you think the couch and end table will be correct? Due to having to put the wire down before the slab is poured
