I will pick up the game this week, but probably won't be able to play much till the weekend.
This would have been much better if released in the summer... as it is, the EPL season starts on saturday and then college football follows shortly after.

Tomorrow No Man's Sky

Got to 2 planets in my first solar system. Holy balls at the size of it all. Almost overwhelming.
My first impression is I hate the constant searching for resources. Found a ton of technology I can use, but can't because I have to find various resources to construct it. Plus, you have a very limited number of slots to carry stuff. It's not a show-stopper so much as it is an annoyance.
This is a chill game. No goal. Explore a planet, use your binoculars to discover animals and plants, find some outposts here and there...upgrade your exosuit and ship when you can, and move on. Didn't really know what I was doing and was in no rush to do it. Next thing I know six hours passes by.
The sentinels don't put up with your shite either. I shot down a couple robot UAVs and they sent two robot wolf-looking death machines after me
All in all, I'll be playing this a lot, but fully exploring one planet at a time.

I'll get it when comes down in price. People are slamming it on Metacritic but most of the reasons are because they didn't do research on it. One guy was like I thought the space battles were going to be epic.

This game is amazing. 10/10 so far. It's unreal how chill it is and how much time you can lose so far.

How is the FoV? Seems like they have fixed the draw distance with patch 1.03.

Haven't had a chance to play it myself so I will hold off judgement, but what's been shown so far is not very impressive. It doesn't look like a bad game or anything, just a mile wide and an inch deep.

THe FoV is the one negative I have on it so far, they need a FoV slider, it's pretty weird.

My first planet was a hot barren shithoke with next to no plant or wildlife. I couldn't stay on the surface very long during the day but there are all these amazing looking caves with multicolored crystals and little slime looking things hopping around. At night, the whole planet turns purple.

Yeah I'm grabbing it for PC as well, he confirmed it has a FoV slider on PC.
