Just played the demo and it just reassured the fact that this will be the first time that I won't buy the new NCAA since 2002. It's pretty much the exact same game as 2009 with a few tackling changes and some new camera work. Gameplay was untouched. There is still psychic playcalling and unable to do anything with your DLine. I'm moving on to Madden.

The new demo is WEAK. It almost seems worse than last year's version. There are no noticeable upgrades or new features. The player lock on defense is pretty cool, but other than that it sucks.

I wish they would explain why they lack the basic capability of putting formation subs

They have explained that already.

Maybe the should add all these features we want , make it the perfect gsme and every year instead of making a new game just make a download pckage that has the new and updated rosters. I would go for that instead o buing a nw game every year for the minor changes that they make. I played the demo, not really impressed. I hate the fact that they took the snap jump out. I was really good at that.

yes they'd rather implement useless shite like the season showdown and mascot games and not use that time for a crucial aspect of football

Then people would bitch that they had to pay $60 every year just for a roster update.

Mascot games took less than a half a day to implement, great comparison.

what exactly do they use their time developing? they have a year to implement shite. they don't change much in the game every year

how much time did team builder take? this is obviously where they spent most of their time

frick, teambuilder is the reason why the rosters are goin to be fricked up when it's released. they could fix the problem, but they don't want to erase everyone's fake teams

they've needed formation subs for 3 years. you can't tell me that if they didn't spend time on season showdown, teambuilder, fricking up recruiting, new intros, that they wouldn't have time to program formation subs and go to 85 person rosters

That I completely agree with.

and again

team builder was already on the old-gen systems, and in the end it's pretty useless

now i could give a flying frick about some things people bitch about, like refs on the field.

but look at the improvements madden has made. it started with the same flawed engine and the steps they've taken to improve the game are supposed to be huge this year. based on the demo NCAA changed little

Anyone witness a bad snap being called an incomplete pass? It was like 3rd and short and I hiked the ball and the ball like went 50 feet behind me and they called it incomplete lol.

What is with the use of "like". Was it third down or not and did the ball go 50 yards or not. If you type this way you must sound "like" a valley girl when you talk.

pretty much the problem is that EA has nobody they have to compete with in the NCAA and NFL video game markets.... thats why they can get by with putting out the CRAP they do

At this point in the thread I'd like to take a tally of all those who will not be purchasing NCAA 10, who have purchased NCAA in the past:
