So that was my last tourney for two weeks, I'm all over the country for a bit.
But thoughts on Tourneys:
I think 3 days might be too much. What if on Saturday or SUnday we have two separate tournaments with shorter lengths so we can consolidate attendees and hopefully get more full matches?
Maybe a 10-3 tourney and a 7-12 tourney? Or something like that.

Funny, saw that on Reddit yesterday and first thing that came to me was rage. I would be even more pissed than getting shelled.
Anyway, we purchased all the character Wii Remotes for fun and didn't use them until my little bros/sisters came to our house.
How unplayable is MK8 with those Wii Remotes, are they forcing us to purchase 3 Pro Pads for when we have a packed house? Currently only have 2 but will have to invest in a 3rd.

Some people like the wii motes. You can just used the buttons. I haven't tried it myself.
I haven't played much lately, I got my wife addicted to Mario 3d Land so we have been playing that.

I know I've raged pretty hard over MK8 and the new Super Mario Bros U. closest I've come to throwing my controller in a long time. but I love the games for that. definitely a love/hate relationship.

I used to play on Mario Kart Wii w/ just the wii mote and a wheel (I think the wheel makes it more comfy) and my wife refuses to play Mario Kart 8 with anything but the wii mote. It's pretty easy to get used to.

Fckk we DK:TF but haven't played it yet.
Now about Mario 3D, the GF sucks at just playing it but is a killer at taking down a boss. Since she isn't afraid to die, I think, she tries out the box solutions which some how always work.
