dont follow other esports all that closely but is dropping doublelift for zven/mithie the worst unforced roster decision ever?

botlane int's, brokenblade loses another lane with a lane dominate champion+counter pick. Akaadian plays how you'd expect a low tier jungler to play and bjergson so desperate for a hero play TP flanks miles away on a corki.

also AYAYtrox

It wasnt unforced at the time. It did make sense at the time. Only with the recent data does it look so bad.

I tend to agree with this. You have to do something to change results, and Zven and Mithy were highly regarded at the time. The outcome has just bombed for them though.

Doublelift was always the best adc in NA. Instead of going out and importing a super star support like TL did for him, they decided to drop him and import an entire bot lane, which was a huge risk and didn't pan out.

Biofrost is not a bad support, and he wasn't on TSM, he just was young and didn't communicate very well. He may have gotten better in the splits after that with DL but we never got a chance to see it.

Svenskeren was "intskeren" on TSM internationally and now he's thriving under Reapered and C9.

I'm still surprised Regi didn't give that team one more chance. That team was pretty good. It didn't have 2 world champs on it like TL does now, but it was pretty good.

I feel like the jungle "tryout" they held in between splits really killed any synergy the team had, and I wish they had just stuck with Akaadian.

That team took TL to 5 games and probably should have won if not for some really bad mistakes. They aren't TL good as a roster but they can be near that level when they play well.

The two junglers that they were picking from were both average at best, and when your team is splitting time with two different people who obviously communicate/play the game differently is going to hold you back.

I don't see them having the inconsistency/miss communication issues if they just run back the same roster from the start, but I could be wrong.

Im ready for them to blow TSM up and either

1. Bring in some young raw talent and have an excuse for losing in order to grow the team.

2. Convince some really good players to play with Bjerg and see if they can compete with TL as a roster.

There's not really anyone that 100% sticks out to me that isn't on TL that I would want though.

Unless Bjergsen wants out, which would surprise me, they aren't replacing Mid lane. I've kind of figured Zven is no doubt back to EU, Smoothie is too inconsistent to warrant keeping, BB has regressed but I can see them keeping him since he's young, and I think they are always looking to upgrade Jungle.

Problem with TSM is they dont have the national talent. Smoothie basically has to be kept because I dont really think you can find a better support thats natively NA. BB is likely to stay he seems to enjoy the roster but I guess its possible he wouldnt if Zven(who seems to be his favorite left). You are then left with trying to decide if you want a Native ADC/Jungle/or Support.

Looks like EF were unable to kick the racist guy and are removed from the LCS.

Hmmm. Dropping Doublelift for Stixxay and Aphro was pretty bad as well.
CLG's brand has pretty much died since then.

I don't consider the CLG move to be unforced though. Roster health was deteriorating and DL basically said "Me or them". Pretty forced. Regi just shite the bed on a lateral at best move.

C9 looks about as rough as TSM right now, granted they are subbing in someone every game for some reason but yikes.

TSM needing multiple backdoor attempts to beat last place 3-12 EF is an all time low for that org.

If it's possible to have less than zero synergy, TSM has done it. I've never seen them so disjointed.

Bjerg is interesting .. he has been just as bad as the others.. but then he plays out of his mind. . He might be only one left.. I know they won against EF but that was one of the most sloppier games they played this split

and TSM just got their shite shoved in by 100T wow...

Made a skin bet that TSM wouldn't make it out of Worlds Play-ins. It's looking pretty good right now.
