are these "Stopwatches" an item or a rune or talent or something. I see a lot of whining about it.

azir being meta makes this stuff watchable for me. probably won't see Fenix's azir anytime soon again

I believe it is part of the new rune system. You can get a free stopwatch (one time zhonyas ability) at the start of the game. It also builds into a full zhonyas. So, basically... one free zhonyas before you buy the zhonyas... and a free 600g item at the start of the game. More or less.

But a ton of people have been running it top and not even building the zhonyas. Allows you to tower dive and zhonyas to drop tower agro really early in the game. Then you sell it after you use it.
Like a free Tryn/zilean ult, Aatrox/Zac passive.

Now, they can do it twice and tank an extra tower shot or two... and save flash.
SO, maybe 3-4 more times before 10 minutes.

Yeah. Makes it like a level 6 timing. Which basically gives everyone a free Zilean ult.
But you do have to sacrifice a different rune. Like overheal, or lethal tempo, etc.

Im moving downtown in a few weeks ... so not anytime soon.

But yea this retarded game still intrigues me so maybe sometime in february

The item being up after 5 mins gives such a narrow timing for kinglets to work with though.

The rune definitely seems like it will dominate LCS for a bit

KT finally beat SKT in a 3-game series.
Started off like every other KT/SKT match.
KT stomps first game.
SKT gets an early advantage in game 2 and Faker takes over.
Game 3 looks to be firmly in SKT's hands.....
BUT, KT pulls off the upset!!!

Deft fanboy excitement.

I watched Game 1. Was pretty close the whole game. The CS numbers in pro games are insane.

I think it is sad to see the better tool at determining who is truly better go by the wayside for “drama,” but u guess it doesn’t really matter.

I think more than BO1 v. BO3, NA (and EU) LCS players are so pussified as to how many games they play. Look at Korea or even moreso Dota teams. LCS players ave it super easy, and that certainly plays into why they underperform IMO.
