Yeah TL got lucian and sej but c9 won p&b I think.
So much engage vs a single dmg comp. Not good

Watching these team fights, it's Liquid's health bars getting melted, while C9 takes little to no damage.
Formulating a team comp that's based around your admittedly tilting, arguably unstable adc, probably wasn't a good idea.
ETA: Liquid is done. I was really looking forward to seeing someone other than C9 play TSM
fricking Liquid

Brutal, although as a C9 fan it was fun for those last 3 games.

I agree. Couldn't be less hyped about an LCS final.

I wanted to see piglet go up against turtle.
I wanted to see how far Liquid could go.
I wanted to see XSpecial have a shot knocking off TSM.
I am a TSM fan, but watching them play C9 doesn't excite me anymore.

it really sounds like things always "change" to stay the same... I take it Cloud9 and TSM are like the Yankees and the Cardinals, more money and resources to always have the best team year in and year out?

Every region has a spring and summer split.
North America
Europe
Korea
China
Brazil
Turkey
Oceania
Taiwan and Singapore (southeast asia)
Iirc..the top 3 in "circuit points" (a combination of points based on finishes in spring and summer)..go to worlds.
The top 4 regions send 3 teams. The other international regions send their best single team.
4x3 =12 +4 = 16 world's participants.
Worlds is then 4 groups of 4..world cup style.
I seem to remember two from Taiwan and none from oceania last year tho so the 4 international wildcards may be not restricted to 1 per region
I think Japan has a league this year too and maybe russia

lol literally 3 different teams could argue about being 2nd this season as far as raw potential
c9 vs tsm is just boring as shite

quote:Not really. Cloud9 is one of the newest NA teams. They're strong because they've had the same roster for 4 splits straight and came in demolishing people straight out of the Challenger series, including TSM. TSM is a self-made brand that's huge now, but was actually one of the most broke teams in the entire scene until Season 3. In all actuality, Team Liquid, formerly Curse, probably has more money and resources than both TSM and C9. That's why they threw money at Piglet to get him to come over to NA. When they were known as Curse, they lived in a literal mansion. Overall money doesn't seem to have THAT big of an impact. It's all about the team and leadership. Vulcan came in the same way C9 did and finished 3rd and went to worlds in season 3. Two brand new teams qualified for worlds in the same season. Obviously Vulcan collapsed after that, but that's just an example of it being more about the players and leadership.

quote:I really don't see how. I'd rather TSM and C9 go head to head than watch TSM 3-0 TL. I honestly think TSM vs. TiP is the defacto "final". But I enjoy strategically sound games. Monte is a korean fanboy that makes me hurl but he and I enjoy the same kinds of games. I like chess matches. I loathe the way EU plays. Just teamfight until death timers get long enough for a team to win off of one. That's why EU is dogshit internationally the past two seasons.

yeah I think TiP gives TSM quite a series tomorrow. You cant ban out XWX and Rush, too many champs in their pool. But giving TiPs botlane Graves/Leona could be a big mistake.
And impact is impact. Deep champ pool and former world champ obv.
Being fairly new to the NA LCS scene, I was surprised to hear C9s overall record vs tsm being so lopsided.
I don't think neither Rush or Santorin play Sej? Both seem to play reksai/nidalee/vi (lee sin will be banned by tsm imo)
