Do not ever build full damage wukong unless you're jungling with like a mao or sion top and don't have to be the primary engage. I want to strangle people who build straight AD only to get cc'd when they engage and blown the frick up. Wukong has to get in the grill of the entire team to be effective. That by default requires a least a little defense. 2-3 AD items is fine, but if it's 30 minutes into the game and you don't have at least a banshees/randuins/frozen heart based on the situation and the game is still relatively close, you're going to have a bad time outside of full potato elo.

Play Shaco top and let me know how that works out for you. Just because people in challenger/diamond 1 do it doesn't mean it works. If he's literally the best Wukong, that means literally no one has better Wukong mechanics than him. That doesn't mean copy his build no matter what and you'll get challenger. It's the same mindset as the tards who watch trick2g all day then think they can just start afk farming udyr in the jungle and get diamond. Doesn't work that way.

It doesn't matter when you get killed by a single spell rotation from enemy Ahri. You need at least 2 defensive items unless the game is a total stomp.

The other thing is every person is different, and the teams they play with are different. I ran a full ad carry wukong awhile back and carried my team of 3 to a win against 5... But every game is different and every team you play with / against is different.

I'm honestly going to always be best when I'm getting assist, that's just my play style, so I have to find the right balance of items and champs

Hydra/Tiamat is his biggest powerspike in lane

I just realized I left out a crucial aspect of that wukong build in my posts

You actually buy double Dorans blades on the first back for the health , ad and lifesteal. Then You chug Red elixirs pretty much all mid to end game. The massive lifesteal and his passive make you tanky enough to get your rotation off without being insta gibbed.

The patch isn't indicative of what season it is.

Did they fall asleep uploading this patch or what?
