ETA: So it's official - I'm nothing special as an ADC, at least the Carry part, but I can play my ADC a lot like my supp... and not die, so that's a positive right?

Any team that is decent at teamfighting will always be in the game against CLG no matter how far behind they get. CLG is awful at arguably the most important part of the game in this meta. You can't win consistently without teamfighting. Maybe during Bo1 you can get away with it for a while like they did during the season, but in a Bo5 you will get exploited like they did today.
