I understand teambuilder elo and ranked elo are different, but this is the 2nd day in a row I've been on team with bronze and silvers only against plats, a gold and two high silvers.
It's bull shite. How can anyone learn anything while being dominated 20-2 at 20 mins? It's retarded

I lost almost all my placements and got put in s3. I have no idea how people get into bronze. I kinna wanna throw my games and get demoted just to play them more often.

mata, former SSW support, has been fined $8k by his own team (VG) for trolling and picking Jayce Support in game3 of the demacia cup vs IG

In his defense i dont understand either. I have been playing for 5 seasons and none of my friends have been placed in bronze and unable to get out of it within the season

Oh he doesn't need defending, I agree with the getting out by season's end or mid season. Just a little salty still about how my season started and League's obsession with crashing after every update.
I just haven't been as enthused about playing lately so I haven't put in the games to really climb.

I dont blame you. I hate playing ranked and never play to climb. I usually end the season with 10-20 ranked games played.
Just my experience with bronze players has always been the same. I don't know how people have trouble getting out of it.

If you are high rank one season, don't they not allow you to drop that many tiers even if your placements are terrible? (IE: you're plat in the previous season so you can lose nearly all of your placements and still get a high silver or even gold?)
I played maybe 10 ranked games in season 3. Maybe 30 last season and maybe 20 thus far this season.
I placed Bronze I last season and immediately got out in a few games (stopped at Silver III and just didn't play ranked anymore).
Same this season. Had some rough runs, but if I buckle down, I'll get back to at least Silver III. I just don't play enough games to have the bad runs and good runs show a legit ranking over time.
I guess I should start taking it more seriously.

nah I got placed in silver III last season after scrambling to gold in the last two weeks and never climbed. I got demoted to silver IV or V for inactivity.

one of the games I won, some dude called mid but I didn't see it till after I locked in malz. He picked brand without a word. I didn't wanna be a dick so I just went top and farmed under my tower.
this dude ended up being best brand silver III, had 4x the amount of dmg to enemy champs more than the next closest person to him on our team.

Part of the problem is that I don't mid and I rarely top so I'm always at least somewhat reliant on the other Bronze players. If I put my mind to it and played more in the solo lanes I could carry myself easier.
And re placements, frick that. I was S IV before the reset, went 6-4 and got placed in Bronze IV so, joy.

learn a good jungle and snowball a lane.
Jungle is probably the best role to carry yourself in low elo cause you can guarantee at least 40% of your team does well (if you do well). More if you snowball bot.
