I used to think they were useless as well, but play her enough and you'll realize just how amazing they are.

Her traps:

- Keep you from getting chased if you can lay them correctly while on the run
- Completely swing an enemy gank into your favor by trapping river bush
- Can completely zone out an enemy, especially in bushes when you have no wards.
- They are great for placing when your team is about to do baron/dragon

Those traps have a plethora of great uses. It is the first ability I take with Cait every game.

Caitlyn has long range AA, good poke (although it falls off late game), traps are essentially makeshift wards, and her escape (her net) can shoot you over walls and is an excellent slow when getting chased.

Not to mention her ult is dominant if you can line it up correctly.

I don't play Sivir much, but she is a beast lane clearer. Her ult is especially great for team fights. She doesn't have any escapes though, unless you count her ultimate, but you can't rely on that often.

If you're looking for utility in an ADC, try ashe. Best initiator global ult in the game, great vision of the map with her hawkshot. She is beast at kiting and slows like a motherf*cker.

She is quite squishy (as they all are) and she has no escape, but those are her only drawbacks for me.

You should. Your MMR this season will directly effect your placement range in Season 4. I'm trying to get my MMR as high as possible so even if I go 5-5 or 4-6 in my placement matches, I'll still have a high chance of Silver.

I'm 4/0/1 on Vi at 11 minutes. Both top and bot lanes roam and take our mid tower. Neither one of our outer lanes followed them. It was literally 5v2 mid for 2 whole minutes. They took 2 mid towers and neither of our outer lanes took a single objective during that entire time. Our bot lane goes a combined 3/18. At the end of the game, I'm the only one positive on my team at 6/5/1 and it's my fault we lost because I didn't help lanes enough....I fricking love soloq.
