you can check your save games and it will tell you exactly how much you have completed but you have a good 3-5 hours left of play I would say

There is no listening mode for one thing.
I am about half way through.
The other thing that makes it harder is the lack of resources. As of now there have been enough shiv making resources to open the doors requiring shivs. Maybe enough for one extra shiv.
I have never had more than one med pack at a time and I can't even think about making a nail bomb.

Do the AI play any different on survivor? Little smarter maybe?

Word. Even though the human AI acted silly at times, the game is still pretty damn hard. I'm sure there are harder ones out there, but it's one of the more difficult ones I've ever played
