I played a few rounds of it with a couple of friends. It appears to horde mode but you play as a locust. Looks like it might be a blast.

We had a party of 5 when we joined the game and it gave us our own room. Anyways, Beast mode is basically basically the opposite of Horde mode. You play as the locust trying to kill a group of entrenched COG soldiers. The groups get progessively harder starting as a bunch of stranded and eventually you face all the heroes from the story with turrets and silverbacks and then Prescott. You can be anything from a ticker all the way up to some of the boss types, but you have to unlock them via scoring kills on COG soldiers.

This sounds incredibly badass. I want to try this.

saw an interesting easter egg on IGN.

don't watch if you haven't completed act IV yet.

The Cluckshot - a weapon that fires explosive chickens.

ETA: Giant Fire Breathing Chicken in Act 1

Epic must have a thing for deadly poultry.

I'll be on around 730-8 to finish the campaign. Maybe Pevy will see this and join us.

I haven't played this game since Tuesday and I finally tried to play it again today, only to find out that the ethernet port in my dorm room is broken.

I've been sailing through my insane difficulty so far.

been getting lucky and finding good team mates in arcade lobbies. Act 3 went a hell of a lot faster than I thought it would.

I just got the flower blood mutator from playing arcade lobbies for a while. I'm sure it's as entertaining as it sounds.

It can't be as good as the laugh track you douche.

I was expecting you to chime in about the laugh track.

and yeah, that thing sucked.

almost as bad as my AI teammates in Insane Act IV. Every encounter I've had with the lambent results in those three dipshits helplessly crawling back to me crying for aid.

aaaand if you decide to start throwing around insults, I'll be sure to throw it on the next time you jump into my lobby.
